My dogs loved them but that lasted about ten minutes or less. One's a Mini-Aussie and the other is a long haired Dachshund and they both chomped them down quick. So if you want to keep your pups occupied, this isn't it.
These Prime Bones from Purina are really great chews for my small dog. They are filled with pasture-fed bison and are approximately 3 inches in length. They are all natural with added minerals. Rawhide free and no form, wheat or soy make them an excellent choice. Priced well, since a bag of 7 will last almost 2 months. Feeding schedule is just one per week. Produced in the USA is another plus. I received this product for free for the purpose of my review. All opinions are my own.
I received this product for free for the purpose of my review. All opinions are my own. My little rat terrier, Ms. Ruby, seems to approve of these Purina Prime Bones filled chews, with pasture-fed bison. When I opened the package, she was ready to explore this tasty new treat. They do not last long but I am thinking that it is because of how good they taste. The treat is about 2 in long and 1/2in thick and it has some sort of filling inside. It is unclear from the nutrients that there are in each treat so although the bag states to cut back, I was not sure how much I was supposed to cut back. Overall, these are a great treat for my dog.
I have a picky 2 year old Chinese crested named Steve. He is very particular about what he will eat. Don't even think about offering him some fake ingredients products because he will turn his nose up on them. I was skeptical about these because they are larger and he is small, however I found that they are not extremely hard, which is great for smaller pups or those without great or many teeth. As soon as I gave my dog this chew bone he was knawing like crazy and had it finished within 15 minutes. He really liked these bones and I will definitely be purchasing again! “I received this product for free for the purpose of my review. All opinions are my own.”
I have probably the pickiest Maltese in the world. She won't eat most foods that get dropped during dinner, and she absolutely will not eat every treat out there. She sniffed at it, gave it a few links, and wasn't into it. However, she was very intrigued by the smell. It may have been too big for her. She's 3 lbs, and the bar was bigger than her leg. Looking at the product, it's no rawhide with top notch ingredients. If there are tinier products, I may try those. “I received this product for free for the purpose of my review. My dogs were super enthusiastic to try these. They have a strong scent of bison which attracts my dogs. They’re rawhide and plastic free so I feel safe giving this to my beloved pups. It has a meaty center that they enjoy. It’s lost lasting and helps clean their teeth and freshen breathe which is always a plus. My dogs and I are big fans. “I received this product for free for the purpose of my review. All opinions are my own.”
My little fur baby just loves these bison treat bones. They are soft but tough to give him the chewy he likes to do. These treat definitely catches his attention! This our best of smell of a treat but to him it's the best tasting treat & that's all that matters. Great quality of a treat!
I received these Prime Bones natural filled dog chew bones. With pasture fed bison flavor free. For my honest review of them. The ones I got where medium size. The size of the chew is pretty good size. You get 7 in the bag. I gave my dogs one. It took them 10 minutes or a little longer to eat them. It kept the busy. They really liked them. I will buy them again.
There's no doubt that my dog loves this treat. He goes crazy the moment he sees the bag and will do any tricks I ask just to get that prize. Of course, he tears through it in about 5 minutes. Long lasting? Not at all. I'm pretty disappointed because I hoped it would take him a little bit longer and provide my entertainment value. Plus, my dog is very small (11 pounds) and that's a lot of calories for him. I received this product for free for the purpose of my review. All opinions are my own.
“I received this product for free for the purpose of my review. All opinions are my own. This is Purina Prime Bone treat. The treat doesn’t actually look like a bone, it has a green color. It’s about 2in long and 1/2in thick and it has some sort of filling inside. My dogs were a bit skeptical of it at first but they eventually decided to try it out. It took them a few days to go through one piece. The treat kept them occupied for many hours everyday. My dogs are chihuahua and the recommended amount is 1 piece a week. It’s unclear from the bag how many calories there are in each treat so I wasn’t sure how much of their regular food I was supposed to cut back. However, they only manage to go through a little bit of the treat each day and they get less of other treats so it’s probably okay to not cut back on the food.
