Dog and Dog Parent Approved!
My Sadie is a huge fan of the Purina Prime Bones Chew Stick With Wild Venison small dog bones. She couldn’t wait to get her paws on one while I was trying to get the package open. She’ll eat one of them in one setting but it lasts her a good ten minutes or so (it takes a bit longer for my Chihuahuas to gobble them down). I love that there’s no rawhide in this chew stick and that it contains limited ingredients (no corn, wheat, soy, artificial colors, artificial flavors, or artificial preservatives). It’s also made in New York. The shape is such that she’s not going to choke or get her mouth stuck on it and the added calcium helps her teeth and bones. This is a treat that I feel good about giving her and she really enjoys it (she’ll climb to get to them if I don’t hide them in the cabinet). I highly recommend this treat to other dog parents who are looking for a rawhide or plastic alternative. I received this product for free for the purpose of my review. All opinions are my own.
Kept My Dogs Busy and Happy
My dogs really loved these Purina Prime Bones Chew Sticks. They loved the wild venison flavor which really is unique for a chew so they were eager to try them. The chews are long lasting and took my dogs several sessions and a number of days to finish. The limited, simple ingredients were not hard on their stomach and being rawhide free didn't gum them up or constipate them. My 7 lb dog found the chew a bit too thick and struggled a bit chewing it but my 12 lb dog did great with the size of the chew. Both my dogs really enjoyed these chews and they kept them busy and happy. I received this product for free for the purpose of my review. All opinions are my own. #ad
My dogs loved how easy it was to chew

All opinions are my own I have 2 dogs one little ajd one medium sized and my lity dog chewed on the edge of the prime bone I think it need to be a little more soft and not so thicke for small dogs they have little mouths . My dogs loved the taste and how it was easy to chew I liked how it lasted a while for her and I loved how it was safe maybe add a little more flavor or smell
Not a great outcome
I recieved the prime bones venison for small dogs for free in exchange for my honest opinion. I have 2 jack Russell's, they both went nuts over the bones. The first one they got I was busy so I wasn't paying a lot of attention to them. They both ate the bones in less than 10 minutes. The second bone I gave them while I was sitting down and kept a close eye on them, especially when I noticed a pink color on the one of their bones where they had been chewing on it. I would have taken the bones from them but that's a no no when it comes to treats. I looked over at my other baby n her bone was more red then pink. It was definitely blood. My girls are prob considered more medium than than small but I always choose the smaller treats for them. I will not buy these again as both my girls gums and/or teeth bled even after they finished the bones. I threw away the rest of the bones because I wouldn't want my girls aged 5 and 6 to lose any teeth over a treat. Would not advise anyone to purchase these.
Good product, but maybe not for tiny teeth
Wow, I am impressed with these treats. I am picky when it comes to chew sticks and products that could potentially contain rawhide. You can tell these are quality chew sticks and don't have hidden ingredients to worry about. My little pup immediately grabbed one and protected it in her bed, then it was gone within two days. However, I noticed how hard they are and devided not to give her any more. My bigger dog was impressed, but my littlest tiny teeth cannot handle the hardness.
Not what my dog expected
I received this product for free for the purpose of my review. All opinions are my own. I received Prime bones rawhide chew stick with wild venison and unfortunately my poor dog couldn’t enjoy it. Not sure as to the reason why except that maybe it was because the dog chew was too hard for her little teeth. I tried cutting it up myself and it was hard but i was able to shave a few pieces here and there for her. She didnt finish it. I think if this was a bit softer she would have enjoyed it. This is probably more for a bigger dog than a smaller one.
A Big Hit
When my dog REALLY likes a treat/bone, she likes to bury it. She will go outside and bury it for later. Sometimes a week or so later. When she finally digs it up, she will find a comfortable spot and start chewing on it, til it’s gone. These bones were a big hit with her. She gets very excited when she sees the bag.
