Misleading picture
The picture has the full gate, instead of the part they actually send, which is Only the extention (2 piece) with some screws. Will be returning.
Misleading photo
Picture shows a much bigger gate than the one I received. You should state in the description that only 2 panels are included. Will be returning this.
badly stained
I wanted this gate for my living room to match my furniture something other than metal or plastic. The first one came and it was badly stained and tacky to the touch.. Either they are packing the item before the stain is dry or it is stored in a hot Warehouse where the styrofoam is sticking to the gate. These extensions were $65 I got that on sale for $55. I called chewy and as usual they took care of the problem immediately and sent me a replacement. When the replacement came it was worse than the first one. This is only a 2 panel to be used for a doorway. Another problem that I see I would not order it if you have a dog that is over 10 lb I don't believe it would be that sturdy. I do not want something for nothing I order from chewy all the time but this is just a bad item and I would not recommend it at all.

The gate works perfectly, had no assembly it was ready to use right out of the box, came with extra hinges and screw if needed, beautiful wood color and very sturdy. 36" tall perfect size for my lab, gate works great as well
Wow! Beautiful...
This arrived today and is absolutely beautiful. It has padding on the bottom to protect my floor, and the gate works really well in either direction. It is the advertised 80" long. I also bought the footers, which are easy to apply and are also padded. I also have the two sided small gate for my kitchen. Wonderful products!
Perfect to stop them from going the wrong way
We bought this to block the dogs from running into the living room as we try to get them in kitchen. It worked perfectly! It would not work to lock them in a room obviously but it was what we needed. It is well made and attractive looking.
Bad marketing
I ordered one and thought I was getting the entire length as shown in the picture. I only got a small little gate instead. The picture is misleading. Don’t spend your money on this when you could get a better one.

The dimensions on the Chewy website are terribly off. The 30” height is listed as 80” length. Actual size is 36”. That is a big difference. Not sure I would have purchased if the correct dimensions were listed.
Useful Gate
I only have the 2-panel extension, and it stands up well. I like that it can be moved as needed to block doorways or stairs. It's a good deterrent.
Wrong item
Ordered item to extend gate length. However, extension did not match the actual gate. One had oval slats the other has round slats. The color is also slightly different. Contacted manufacturer. Gentleman said extension was a newer production, that the one with the round slots wasn't made any longer and that he would check to see if he could find one of the earlier ones. After 2 weeks no response.
