Expiration date ?
By Dizee on Dec 28, 2020 Top 500 Contributor
I purchased this PRN Prozyme a month ago in Nov. 2020 and looked for an expiration date. The only numbers on the label are 10-2008. I got in touch with the manufacturer and was told they would get back to me. That was over 3 weeks ago, so I contacted them again and no response. Therefore if this has an expiration of 10-2008 the enzymes are worthless. I have 2 other digestive enzyme products from other companies and both have use by dates. I would never purchase another product from PRN again !

It kinda helped
By Buggy on Nov 11, 2020
So about a year ago my dog Luna was diagnosed with EPI. Before her diagnosis she was 65lbs and she was eating and drinking water like crazy! She then slowly stopped eating so I figured maybe she wants soft food so I put warm water in her hard food to soften it up and she starting eating a bit more. After about a week she stopped eating again and that’s when it all started happening she started dropping weight like crazy (she lost 20lbs in a week waiting for the vet appointment) and was always tired or laying down (she was at the time about a year and a half so she was all spunk before it happened) and started to scavenge for other things for “food.” So I made an appointment to the vet and they So about a year ago my dog Luna was diagnosed with EPI. Her next test was a blood test which came out for EPI! I was stressed like crazy and the vet recommended me to these! They definitely helped with her weight but not back to her healthy weight, she’s gotten some of her spunk back it’s still like this (almost a year later) she has her ups and downs still her poops are slowly getting solid again but I’ve been thinking about switching to a new enzyme to see if it’ll be better for her. I definitely recommend it for others but for my 2 year old pup it only helped to an extent. … more

Works well for dogs with digestive issues
By Dobergirl on Nov 16, 2020
We have a doberman who has had lots of digestive issues. Vomiting and/or runny stools due to improper digestion. He's also one to bolt down his meals, so we tried slow feeders, probiotics ,etc etc .... Anyways, this product has nearly eliminated the vomiting issues, and stools have improved tons. Seems he was lacking the enzymes needed to fully break down his meals. Thank you for a product that works!

Great Product
By Wendylynne on Jun 24, 2020
I have been using Prozyme for about 4 months now. My GSD has had stomach issues for the last few years and would not eat his food even after trying several brands. He had been losing weight and looked like I didn’t feed him. I found this product before the Vet had recommended trying a grain free food. Now with this and his food he is thriving and has actually gained weight. Very happy with his results.

NO MORE GAS!!!!
By ArtisticOne on Feb 26, 2020
My Yorkie has to be on a prescription food and there is no alternative I could feed him. His gas was so bad we were embarrassed to have guests over. He would start passing gas three hours after his first meal and continue on after his second meal until 10 or 11 pm. I tried giving him gas-x, prilosec, and phazyme which are all for human beings as recommended by our vet, but nothing worked. I read the reviews for Prozyme and thought it was worth a try, as one person said her boxer's gas was so bad it could take paper off the walls and this product worked. After the first dose of Prozyme he did not have anymore of that foul smelling gas. Prescribed by my veterinarian!
By Cara on Nov 3, 2019
This works! I have a great Pyrenees who struggles with recurring pancreatitis and colitis and the addition of this to his food has made a world of difference! Not one bout since he started taking it, and that despite the fact that I’m struggling to teach my husband to resist our big fluffs begging antics for treats not on the prescribed list!

No more flatulence!
By BoxerMom on Aug 1, 2019
I was first introduced to this product around 2001, when I adopted my first Boxer. She could peel the paint off the wall when she had flatulence. My vet recommended Prozyme, AWESOME PRODUCT! I have used it with all of my Boxers since. It helps with digestion and 99% of the time, no gas. Approximately one fourth teaspoon sprinkled on top of their food. I feed mine 2 x a day, and I always use it
