A lifesaving drug at a reasonable price. Since it is temperature sensitive, fast and appropriate shipping is essential. My order, the first from Chewy Pharmacy, came in a styrofoam box in which 2 ice packs were placed in the bottom, then the product in a plastic bag, topped by a thin layer of bubble wrap. Why wasn't the product placed in between 2 ice packs? In the extreme heat, the ice packs were beginning to melt (presumably while on the delivery truck). The product arrived still cool, but it could easily have been otherwise! Better packaging needed!!! … more

In my past orders everything was extremely timely and communications were good. shipping delays “associated with Covid 19” was not discussed at the time of order. Because of the prescription nature of the insulin and food several phone calls were required to ensure the Vet had signed off. Additionally there was no shipping notification only “going to the pharmacy” notification. This order took four phone calls with an average wait time of 45 minutes each before the order was safely delivered 11 days after placement. Instead of the normal 2 day cycle. People were friendly when I called but provided info proved to be inaccurate on 3 of the calls. … more

Chewy had Failed us after years as their Customer.

As I have read from other Dog Parents through Blogs and Comments that Chewy had miserably failed them, I never thought that it would happen to my Family. But lo and behold it did. I have spoken to agents with regards to my order for My Dog's Insulin and that we need it as soon as possible, one agent promised that it will be delivered as soon as possible, meaning "As fast as possible" since it is an Insulin. But when I made a follow-up, another agent told me that it will be delivered after 2 days or more. For a Diabetic, injection shots are important as saving a life. The uncertainties of their Answers disappoints me. I have been transferred from agent to agent like a Ping Pong ball. The uncertainties of their Answers disappoints me. I have been transferred from agent to agent like a Ping Pong ball. Not only it is irritating, it was also unprofessional when agents blame the Pharmacist for a slow job and blamed our Vet for sending the Prescription late when I knew when it was sent. I was notified spot on and was on the other line with the Vet while the Agent was washing hands just like Pontius Pilate. New employees at Chewy needs Training. They are NOT in sync. Reading scripts to answer Customers can be their bread and butter but Common Sense should be practiced everyday. I am very un-pleased with this situation. Not only me but my whole family. … more

For some reason this months bottle is a different consistency, arrived warm, and I am too concerned to use it.
