My order, the first from Chewy Pharmacy, came in a styrofoam box in which 2 ice packs were placed in the bottom, then the product in a plastic bag, topped by a thin layer of bubble wrap. Why wasn't the product placed in between 2 ice packs? In the extreme heat, the ice packs were beginning to melt (presumably while on the delivery truck). The product arrived still cool, but it could easily have been otherwise! Better packaging needed!!! … more

    Disappointing Service

In my past orders everything was extremely timely and communications were good. shipping delays “associated with Covid 19” was not discussed at the time of order. Because of the prescription nature of the insulin and food several phone calls were required to ensure the Vet had signed off. Additionally there was no shipping notification only “going to the pharmacy” notification. This order took four phone calls with an average wait time of 45 minutes each before the order was safely delivered 11 days after placement. Instead of the normal 2 day cycle. People were friendly when I called but provided info proved to be inaccurate on 3 of the calls. … more

    All was great.

Very happy this is available at a lower price than at the vet. It came packaged cold and well! I only wish there was a way to recycle all the styrofoam in the packaging. It's a huge box for a small bottle of medicine, but understandable since it needs to be cold. If it weren't so expensive at the vet I'd get there as I would save all this packaging.

    Very well packaged.

We were concerned because this product requires refrigeration. The tiny vial came in a huge box encased in styrofoam, bubble wrap and ice packs. Very well packed and very cold.

    Rising cost?

    By on

This price is $25 more than it was just a few weeks ago? Is this going to be a trend? If so the search for affordable Prozinc will have to continue.

    Switched from Lantus

    By on

We had our diabetic kitty on Lantus for 2 years. Switched to this one because it is so much cheaper and also has great results in cats. I just wish I could get it in the pens instead of only a vial.
