I don’t know what I think of it but my dogs love it. They think it something special in their food. It is done the trick after one of our dogs had a bout of pancreatitis.

  • It seems to work

    By on Top 1000 Contributor

I have a three-year-old female cat that won't eat.....anything. The vet checked for blockage, cancer and even opened her and looked at her stomach for anything the x-ray would not show...nothing. We decided perhaps it was food allergies so I eliminated carbs and grains. She would still not eat and I was afraid for her. So I mixed this powder with Royal Canin Sensitive Diet, added a few drops of a digestive aid and rubbed the gruel on her flank for her to lick off. She hates me but I get food and the other two items in her belly and save her life, I think. Today, for the first time in about two months, she ate something on her own. It was a seafood cat treat but fine with me....and then I have a three-year-old female cat that won't eat.....anything. • 100% Improvement!

    By on

We had horrible recurring bouts of pancreatitis with our 7 year old boxer to the point that the vets were saying the prognosis was not good for a long life. After changing her diet to both low fat with 1/4 t. of Prozyme on her food at each meal, she is 100% improved! Not sure if any other probiotic would have similar results, but this is the one the vet recommended and we have stuck with it. We're one month away from her 8th birthday and couldn't be happier!

  • Helps with Pancreatitis

    By on

My 10 year old cat was diagnosed with Pancreatitis. The Prozyme powder added to his canned food has helped him to digest his food much better. He rarely throws up now. Unfortunately, he refuses to eat dry food with Prozyme mixed in it, but he isn't eating the dry food much now at all anyway. I think it might be harder for him to digest. I am just happy to see him acting like he is feeling better. He is actually playing again which he has not done in awhile!

  • Great for GSD with Enzyme Pancreatic Insufficiency (EPI)

    By on

We have two German Shepard’s with EPI and both have trouble maintaining weight, eating feces and flatulance. Started this product on May 17th and both of our dogs have greatly improved in all areas. After so many years with no answers and many different trials of food diet it is great to find a product that is getting them back to health. Definitely recommend this product.

This product was recommended for my dog's anal problems. We gave him pumpkin, but this did not work for him. We have been using this product for less than one month and no more scooting on our carpet for, our golden retriever.

  • Great enzyme

    By on Top 1000 Contributor

My cat has IBD/suspected small cell GI lymphoma and pancreatitis. Digestive enzymes are really important for both panc and IBD, as it helps take the stress of the pancreas and helps cats with impaired GI tracts digest food better. My cat is very sensitive and doesn't like anything mixed in his food but doesn't seem to mind this at all. I just sprinkle a little in each of his meals. He's gained back the 5oz of weight he lost, too. I'm even giving it to my dog to help her digest her food better.

  • Fairly decent digestive enzyme option

    By on

I have added this to my cat's food for the past few months and it seems to help sometimes but not always. It has not solved her frequent vomiting and diarrhea and may even make it worse sometimes - even a very small amount - probably due to the milk sugar base. I have had much better luck with Animal Essentials Plant Enzyme & Probiotics Dog & Cat Supplement.
