Great Winter Jacket
Just received in the mail, within 3 days of ordering. My mini schnauzer weights about 8lbs max and wears a medium. Definitely measure before ordering, the length is perfect, neck size is perfect, the chest is snug but there is no way I would order a larger size. There is a qr code to scan but the app is not available in the Google Play store, I get an error whenever is scans. The inside is fleece and the outside is polyester. It is handwash or dry clean only.
Beautiful coats
I had looked at many places to find jackets for my dogs and I am glad that I found these ones. They are beautiful coats that are sewn well and also have a nice harness on the back of them. The measurement chart they had was spot on for the fit of my dogs. The price is a little higher, but for the quality of the coats, I would definitely say that they are worth it. I liked the fact that the closure was a nice zipper on the back and not the front of the coat. It also had a little pocket at the top of the zipper so it couldn't pinch the dogs skin in it. You won't regret buying these jacket!
PERFECT-except for sizing
This coat is only for small dogs. My dog is 23.4 lbs. I read the reviews and knew I needed to size up, so I ordered an XXL that fit another customers 25 lb dog, but it was slightly big on mine. I returned it and got an XL and it fits perfectly. If my dog was any bigger, it would be too small on him. My dog happily runs around for hours in the cold wearing it and he stays warm. So happy I made this purchase.
Finally fit
Ordered the xl because reviews said it ran very small, it was huge. My dog is a min pin 9lbs. I called To exchange and the gentleman said a small would fit her, well that was about4 inches to small so we ordered the medium and it fits her, I do have to put a sweater on her to fit. Her chest is a 16 inches. Thank you for being so accommodating.
Great jacket harness
Just used our new jacket harness on a walk and it went great. This is a size XL and Layla is about 24 pounds. She has a large rib cage, so it is very right around the chest. I do wonder if I should have gotten the XXL. It does fit, just a little difficult to zip.
Great coat for small dogs - read on for sizing...
Easy to slip on, easy to zip, and doesn't mat my long-haired dog. Looks great, too! We followed the advice of other reviewers and the helpful Customer Support rep at Chewy and ordered a Large (18.9-inch chest). Our boy measures 17" around the chest, 14" from collar to tail, and only weighs 13 lbs. (He usually wears a dog-size 14 or small/medium depending on sizing). The coat leaves lots of room around the front legs for comfort, yet it's perfectly snug around the chest to zip up comfortably. It reaches all the way to his tail but doesn't sag, block, or interfere with going potty. Pictures below!
Met my expectations
This coat is great! I ordered an XL and it fits my 23 lb. cocker spaniel perfectly. It's easy to get on and off with the zipper on her back. And with the harness incorporated into the coat, it saves time.
Perfect for our Escape Artist
Our Powder Puff Chinese Crested, Ruby, manages to wiggle her way out of every other harness we have bought her, but with this one, she seems to have met her match. I am ordering a second one and hope to keep her safe from now on! It is also comfortable, attractive and sturdy...fits her well.
runs really small
I ordered a Med for my 15lb Miniature Schnauzer & it was way to small. Chewy immediately gave me a refund and I reordered a Large. It fits him but if he gains weight it won't. It's a great concept with the built in harness but runs very small.
Great coat, bad sizing
I read reviews about how small these ran so I ordered a L when our Bichon normally wears a S or M. The L was too tight so we asked to exchange for an XL and customer service put the XL in our cart and also applied the refund. The XL is perfect and we love the coat!
