To get the most accurate size harness for your pet, measure the girth of their chest, around the widest part of your dog's torso right behind the front legs, with a cloth tape measure. Pull the cloth tape snug, but not tight. If you don't have a cloth tape measure, you can use a piece of string and measure it with a rigid ruler afterwards. Make sure there's enough room for about two fingers between the harness and your pet's chest for comfort.

Great value

I needed a harness quick for my foster pup with a fractured leg and recovering from a respiratory issue. Thanks to Chewy I had this harness within a couple of days! Simple to don and use, sizing is exactly according to the chart. Plastic buckle can be a little hard to hook/unhook but would not prevent me from buying this harness again. Great harness for the price!

Soft and Effective

Goes on easily and works pretty well for a pup. I got a size up for him to grow into and when he gets feisty he can wiggle out of it pretty easily. He is about 18lbs and the large is roomy on him. Will use something sturdier as he grows up.

Great mesh harness

I’ve bought several of the Puppia mesh harnesses for my English Setter. They have held up well even in salt water settings on the beach. I hand wash or rinse them after every use and they last a long time. I would highly recommend it. Seems to be very comfortable for her to run in.

Puppia Dog Harness

The material this is made of is great. When I bought this harness I did not realize the closure was on the side. I am a woman with arthritis very badly and cannot work the side closure. I will have to purchase a new harness with the closure on top. I also don't like that it pushes up on the throat of my pup and the lead hook is in an strange place verses other harnesses I have purchased from Chewy.

Runs very small

Ordered a small harness (different brand) and Got this in a medium for when my 9 week old pup grew. It's fits very tight-runs SMALL in the chest area. You can adjust around waist but the front to back tension on chest as stated runs small and was cutting into his chest. Also the clip was really hard to release

Wayyyy too small

Ordered a size medium for my 5 month old pit bull. It was so small that it MAYBE could’ve fit over her head! This harness definitely is not going to fit though. Very disappointed. Also very confused why the size is so messed up?

best harness for cats!

So it’s not being marketed to cat people but let me tell you out of all the “cat harnesses” we have tried this one is the best if you have a kitty that’s like 10 pounds or bigger. Our two petite cats can get away with kitty harnesses but the two big ones... well they needed dog harnesses lol. We love this bc it is easy to adjust to the perfect fit and doesn’t tug in any of the wrong places like others we have tried

My Westie has been wearing this harness since she was a pup 3 yrs. ago. The clip is amazing and it is a great fit - she wears a medium. I highly recommend it for a dog with normal activity.

I purchased based on price.Bad idea!product doesnt wear well.dog is not chewing it. they start tearing apart.i have ordered 5 or 6 i have 3 left.

Very misleading sizing. My dog was not with me at the time I ordered so I did not measure her chest. She is a medium size dog with a little extra weight. I ordered xl thinking this might actually be to big. I could not even get this over her head. Also very light weight material that would not hold up the first time my dog seen a squirrel and tried to pull to get it.
