The Puppia RiteFit Soft Dog Harness is perfect for your four-legged friend’s daily walks. The quick release buckles and hook & loop straps for the neck, plus adjustable chest belt with easy snap buckle and D-ring to hook standard leashes, provide extra comfort for pups in between sizes and ensures longer lasting durability. It’s light-weight and breathable, with very soft edge piping for secure comfort and fit.
To get the most accurate size harness for your pet, measure the girth of their chest, around the widest part of your dog's torso right behind the front legs, with a cloth tape measure. Pull the cloth tape snug, but not tight. If you don't have a cloth tape measure, you can use a piece of string and measure it with a rigid ruler afterwards. Make sure there's enough room for about two fingers between the harness and your pet's chest for comfort.
I have a 10 week old pug puppy with lots of energy who needed a back clip harness for control. Some of the reviews on this harness said the clips were difficult to snap. Yes, the first couple of times they were "tighter", but with everyday use (I put on in the morning and off at night, sometimes off during the day also), I have no problems with the clips. This harness offers great control and a great fit (I ordered a Small). Great harness!
Don't have a clue how this is supposed to work

This is the second harness I have ordered from Chewy that doesn't work so I will be returning both. I love Chewy for dog food and stuff, but I don't know if it is the descriptions or I suddenly can't read correctly, but even using the sizing charts, I am having very bad luck with this type of item. One was minscule: I am not sure it would fit a Chihuahua puppy, and this one --well I don't even understand how it goes on!! you can un attach the part at the shoulders but how does the back go on?? I have had dogs for 49 years and used big, small and all between leads, harnesses, collars and couplers but I don't know how to use this thing and I am not going to waste anymore time with it.

The harness runs small.. I ordered a large for my Golden Sammy. The size was according to her weight. The harness doesn’t come with a picture/instructions. After several attempts at putting the harness on, I gave up. It’s too small. Would not order this item.
Cute but small

it's smaller than marked - buy a larger size than you normally would. I had to let it out as far as it would go and it's very tight. I'll take him to the. pet store and buy the next one in person so I can make sure of the fit
Chewy is great

Originally got this harness in a Medium as that's what my boy normally wares but it ended up being too small. Chewy was amazing and gave me a refund, wavered the shipping fee and sent me the harness in a large instead. Plus it came super fast!
Thank you chewy! You rock
So not worth it

I bought 2 of these for my dogs. Bought usual sizes to fit them. They don't... the blue one chafes my pitbull's under legs. Red one couldn't be used on either of my babies. With the measurements listed they should both fit and fit comfortably and correctly. Disappointed.

This does not run true to size. I just bought this for my 6 week old puppy and it is way to small. I just bought a medium and I'm sure it's going to be to big.

It’s a great harness, but it’s a little to big. We bought a small in the same brand but a different style and our little guy is outgrowing it. So we bought this in a medium (they didn’t have a medium in the original style) and its to big. Not sure our little guy will get big enough to fill this out but we are going to keep it and see
vastly undersized, self-defeating design.

A medium doesn't fit my <20lb. chiweenie. The back of the neck is removable velcro that you can detach and adjust, which is secured with clips, like the shoulder straps of a backpack. However, the compression straps the clips are attached to are so short that the clips can't reach end to end to secure the neck once you widen it, making the whole design self-defeating and useless. I'm left to either choke my dog with the compression straps, or pretend velcro is going to hold together instead of popping right in half at the neck when my dog strains against the leash. yeah, right. I also can't recommend this harness for any sort of dachshund mix with a long back, as it's pretty short. It basicallyA medium doesn't fit my <20lb. chiweenie. Not a no-pull halter
on Mar 13, 2021
My puppy is very strong, and when I take him for a walk he is constantly pulling on me. My 74-year-old arms can’t take that. Also, the buckles are hard to pinch open. It’s a nice halter...it’s just not for me. I think it is considerably over priced.
