I ordered these rocks and within 3 weeks of having them in my tank I started getting a snail infestation. I’ve had to pluck out numerous snails and put them in my pond to try to keep them from population from booming out of control
Too large for my application but was cheerfully refunded. Thumbs up for Chewy!

Description of the product size is 3-6mm but actually is much larger. Average diameter was closer to 8-10mm and some were 15mm. If gravel diameter is not an issue its acceptable but if you need a small diameter application look elsewhere. Chanpal, the service representative, was exceptional. This was my first order from Chewy and because of her I will be back.

Exactly what I wanted in my fish tank. Looks awesome in my 2.5 gallon tank!
Mixed Size Gravel/Stones

Love the color of this Gravel/Stones. They are a mixture of sizes. About half the bag is smaller size which I like and then there are the larger size which I'm not crazy about. Wish they all were the small size like they used to come. These will do, but will have to pick out the larger ones from the bag. That won't be fun. So don't go by the picture on the bag...only half the bag is the smaller size.

we bought this with the 3 gal tank hoping it was enough. Its the perfect amount. It gives about a 2 inch fill on the bottom. I was actually hoping the size of the grain would be smaller. But it works.
Love this gravel

It is really nice . Want to add to all my tanks! Smooth no rough edges . Great for my 55 and 100 gal tanks. When you can have gravel not sand in your tank this is a great choice.
Nice Size Pebbles

I got these for a new planted shrimp tank. The 'pebbles' are larger than standard gravel, I mixed these with smaller gravel and really like the effect. It will be a while before I can add shrimp due to the new tank cycling process.

These rocks were perfect for what I wanted them for. I previously had my betta on multicolored aquarium gravel that was just a tad sharp, but a recent study showed the colors and shapes of these were more harmful than before realized. I bought these natural-looking 'river' rocks instead to try and create a more natural environment. They were affordable and all really smooth. A little dustier than any rocks I had ever purchased before so need a lot of rinsing, but otherwise fantastic.
Great! One small thing...

Based on other reviews, the gravel bag tends to explode during shipping, and the gravel goes everywhere in the box. It happened to me too, it isn’t too hard to clean up, and it certainly isn’t something to not buy this because of. Just be know there is a small chance you’re going to have to do gravel clean-up, and be prepared. Other than that, it’s great!
Great color - nutty mix

It’s a great price for a 5lb bag and the pebbles are the perfect size. I definitely recommend taking your time rinsing substrate, it’s pretty dusty and can cloud your tank water otherwise.
