Didn't work out for what I hoped for with my super finicky cat, and my normal eaters were not impressed either.
My one year old female feline was choosy when transitioning from kitten to adult wet foods. Finally , we are both satisfied.
My cats have loved this product in the past, ...but now they have decided they do not like pate. They are going on a diet,..to improve their picky appetites... In the past it was a favorite. I am working on getting them an attitude adjustment.
Spork likes and eats it all so I consider that a win. Grain-free especially helps since it’s a lot easier on her stomach
Sal and Sabby love this flavor! Purina Beyond is their new favorite food, and Duck and Sweet Potato is one of their new favorite flavors. I was a little concerned the sweet potato flavor would turn them away from it, but they gobble it right up, too. Another winner! (One tiny concern was that some of the cans were bent and one can was missing a label - some might find that a problem, but the cans were all still sealed properly so it wasn't really an issue for me.)
Duck & Sweet Potato, Salmon and Chicken & Sweet Potato flavors are all trash. I’ll open the cans and the food is brown/black instead of it’s usual pink color and has black mold in the gravy. This is a relatively recent thing too because I’ve been ordering this brand for about a year now and this just started happening. It happens consistently with every auto ship order I have gotten in the last 2 months though. I recommend this brand for any kitties with food allergies but avoid the Duck, Chicken, and Salmon flavors.
I gave this a 2 because my orange tabby and tortoise shell cats were only willing to eat this twice, but only with chicken and sauce on top. I finally gave up and donated the remaining cans to an animal shelter.
I used to buy this, but have had to turn to a more expensive brand that has no fish, vegetables/ carbohydrates, carrageenan, or now inulin. Because this always had fish, I was already limiting due to PCBs and mercury concerns, but inulin is not good for a cat's digestive tract. They're not able to digest it, don't need it, and it causes intestinal distress. I'm now finished buying this and all the other recipes that include inulin, even if you advertise it as "natural prebiotic fiber". You've already stretched the meat with sweet potatoes.. Nice try!
I'm severely limited and struggling to find limited ingredient food for my picky allergic kitties. After trying several brands and types of food they'll eat that will agree with them is beyond frustrating. Well I found one they love that works for them. THANK YOU CHEWY FOR CARRYING THIS AND SHIPPING DIRECTLY TO ME AT THE BEST PRICE!!!!!!!!
I have an elderly cat missing teeth and also an overweight cat allergic to seafood. Both love this food and are doing great on it. They like it better than the more expensive brands and from opening the cans I can certainly see why.
