Feeding Instructions

Adult dogs need about one can per 15-18 pounds of body weight daily. Divide daily amount into multiple feedings. Your dog's needs may vary according to age, activity level and environment. Always provide fresh water in a clean container. Proper diet, exercise and veterinary care are the best ways to keep your dog healthy. Refrigerate unused portion.

Transition Instructions

You should consider transitioning gradually to new pet foods to help eliminate any digestive issues. We recommend consumers introduce a new pet food over a period of 7 - 10 days to help avoid digestive upset. The first day we recommend mixing 10 percent of the new food with 90 percent of the current food. Each day, increase the amount of the new food while decreasing the amount of the current food.

    Satisfied dogs

    By on

I normally make my own dog food using beef liver, ground turkey and whatever veggies I have on hand, such as sweet potatos, spinach, green beans and shredded apples without the core and seeds. I use this to supplement my kibble, Taste of the Wild, which I buy from Chewy as well. When I run out of homemade, I use this can food, my dogs are quite aware there is a difference but this is the only can food my picky GSP will eat. My not so picky Aussie is just thankful it's meal time. Very pleased with this wet food and the limited ingredients.

    He loves it!

    By on

My baby is now 17 years old. He's eaten hard food all his life. As he's gotten older, he has lost teeth and can't chew hard food anymore. A friend of mine gave me a can of Purina Beyond to try. He loves it. At his age, I noticed a difference in his coat even. It shinier and softer. It's also a very good deal. The price is good.

    Dog sniffed and walked away

    By on

I thought I try something new and when my dog sniffed it she just walked away. When I opened a can of Chicken, she gobbled that down. Now I have 11 cans of dog food I can't use! UGH.

    Dogs Love It

    By on

I recently switched to Beyond canned food because my dogs got to where they would not eat the other food I was using. OMG! They love it. They are back waiting at their bowls to eat their meals now and I do not have to coax them to eat. As an owner I am happy with the nutrition and ingredients and my dogs are happy! Win-Win

Healthy but not for every dog

    By on

The ingredients are nice and healthy and I feel comfortable feeding this to my dog. My dog eats it little by little even when she is really hungry which to me indicates it is not as tasty. Try the turkey flavor from this brand, my dog drools over it!

    Not a good mix

    By on Top 1000 Contributor

I didn't care for this dog food because it had too much grease or fat or separation of the food when you poured it out. It was the worst canned dog food I've ever bought. I normally choose better brands, but thought I would give this one a try. My dogs didn't even like the grease/fat/yellow mucus stuff that was all over the food.

    My dog loves the food!

    By on

I had to put my 17 year old baby boy on canned food. He no longer can chew hard food. A friend of mine bought this food, and her dog didn't like it. So, my dog tried it. And he loves it. I love the convenience of having it delivered. I am disabled, and this is a great option for me. Even if Buddy wouldn't have liked this food, I would have picked something else for him.

    Great value, great food!

    By on

Pup loves this. We smear it in his slow feed bowl and then top with his kibble, which he has never been too fond of on its own. This makes him hurry over to eat and hopefully enjoy his food! It's always gone quickly with this in the bowl. And slight TMI but important information - this food has really contributed to very regular bowel movements.

    Paws Down, Dog Says No

    By on

I was hoping my dog would like this but she took a sniff and one lick then walked away. I gave a couple cans to a friend who has 2 small dogs... they wouldn't touch it either. :( Wish I hadn't bought 2 cases on impulse...I'm hoping the possum who visits each night will eat it....
