Pickiest Lab on Earth
I have never met a lab that isn’t a complete garbage disposal, until I adopted my little yellow Deacon. That dude won’t eat anything. I have tried all the expensive, high protein, human grade, natural ingredient, etc. etc. foods and I usually get about 2 unprotested meals out of a bag. Then it gets donated, given away, or returned. Finally, I gave up and bought him Purina which is what my other foster dog eats. You have to admit it’s not the highest grade food you can buy, which is why I was hesitant. But he loves it. As long as it’s high protein, has chondroitin and glucosamine, and is either grained or has added taurine, I’m ok with it. So we settled on this one. It is so much cheaper than what I’ve been buying and I don’t have to add anything to it to convince him to eat. Also, if you get down to the last day and don’t have time to place an order, this one is great because it is sold at big retailers as well.
My wolf-dogs and “house” dogs LOVE it!
We have six wolf dog hybrids, a pit bull and a boston terrier and they LOVE this food. The “house” dogs prefer this kibble but will eat others (they’re kind of fatties :) but the WD can be verrrrry picky. They will only eat this kibble. While this is a smaller aspect of their diet as they mainly eat raw meat, veggies, etc., if you have a WD and you have a picky eater, this is the kibble for you! Turkey and venison is their favorite flavor and for my growing pups, who can go wrong with the protein content! Love it!
First time having this
I open the bag up my pup is already about to knock me down fills 20g bucket fill the bowl she demolished a whole bowl so my pup was happy and still have a quarter bag left plenty of food for my Catahoula until next shipment
My dog loves this food
I switched to True Instinct after my Lab stopped Eating Purina One Pro Food. Based on the Vet’s recommendation, my Lab was on a Purina One Pro food plan. But I think they changed the formula and my dog stopped eating it. When I switched to True Instinct he started eating again. I also supplement with Pro Plan Turkey and Rice canned food, which he also loves. I have tried the other True Instinct flavors and he seems to like the Turkey/Venison Flavor the best,,,I I hope Purina doesn’t change this formula next…
THEY LOVE IT!
I’ve been purchasing different foods even the $80-$100/bag and adding chicken to those to get them to eat it, so when this arrived and my dog began smelling the bag while taking it out, I was feeling hopeful. Both dogs loved it and ate it up without adding anything to it, they actually licked the bowl clean and wanted more.
My pups love this!
I had been using Purina Pro Plan for many many years, but my dog seemed to get a little picky about it, and really didn't want to eat much. So I tried this Purina One product, and my dog's absolutely love it!
Yummy food
My mom switches between salmon and tuna and the venison and turkey. I don't complain about either flavor. I gobble it all up. She says I could probably lose a few pounds.
Good food at a great value
My dog loves this food. This was the second brand we tried and he’s eaten this with no issues. Also want to note that this size bag of this particular food is hard to come by; always sold out in stores. Chewy offers the best value for this food in comparison to other stores. Will buy regularly from Chewy from now on.

Max isn't a big fan of most dog foods. Even other purina! But he LOVES this! He literally rips the box open and then eats out of the container when we pour the bag in.
Yummy....or so I've been told!
my senior Lab went after this change of brands like it was his birthday! it's not too hard/not too soft for him to chew. This is definitely his new favorite.
