My Australian Shepard is eating purina one do I still have to wait 7 days to give her the Healthy Weight or can I start feeding her this?

When introducing a pet to a new food, Purina recommends to gradually change their diet at 10% increments to avoid digestive upset. The diet change should be done over a 7-10 day period by adding small amounts of new food to the old food. The first day, it's recommended to mix 10% of the new food with 90% of the old food. Each day, increase the amount of the new food while decreasing the amount of old food.
