Great for picky eaters
A couple of years back Iams had changed their cat food formula and my cats revolted by going on a hunt strike. Desperate to find any solution that would hopefully work for all three of them (one of whom refuses to eat wet food), I went on a journey to find food they would consistently enjoy eating and that would hopefully continue to provide them with a balanced diet. After trying a few different brands and formulas that had been recommended, but with little success, I finally tried the Purina ONE Sensitive Skin & Stomach and have never looked back. There was a shortage for a short while where I couldn't get this food and the cats attempted to exercise tolerance for another Purina ONE formula, but by the end of the bag they had lost their enthusiasm until I could finally get more of this stuff. I also started to feed our outdoor strays with it and they now have the glossiest, healthiest fur coats out of any of the cats in the neighborhood. If that's any basis to believe that it supports a healthy diet, I think that's a good indicator!
Best food ever!
We got a three-year-old rescue cat that was very under weight, maybe 2 to 3 pounds. Every food you gave her she could only keep in for about five minutes then would throw it up. We tried every kind of canned or dry, extremely expensive name brand sensitive tummy food there was. Finally I tried just good old reasonably price sensitive system purina cat food. OMG, it was a life saver. She almost never throws up and put on about 9 pounds. She’s now a 14 year old, still very healthy old lady kitty.
My 11 year old cat LOVES this food
My 11 year old cat has been losing his hair. Vet feels its a food allergy. Simba ate Friskies all his life; they might've changed their food formula(?). So I bought the Purina One for Sensitive Skin. Simba loves it! I hope his hair starts to grow back soon. Either way, he's still really cute!
My cats love it
I am sold on Purina One for it's nutrition content and wanted to try this particular formula for one of my cats who seems to have sensitive skin. All of my cats eat it well and seem to prefer it to other dry foods I've tried. Mine also seem to prefer the smaller pieces in Purina One. It is difficult to say whether the "sensitive" cat is benefitting as this is a fairly recent trial.
Promote healthy cats
I have 4 indoor and 3 ferral cats...They love a mixture of shreds and Purina one sensitive skin and stomach. I highly recommend Purina for your dry food selection...Cats are picky about their dry taste..my 7 cats love it...to you cat owners give them a try.
Must be delicious
I was hoping for a food that could help my itchy cat, having tried treatments of every kind. Not sure this has helped her skin but she sure does love it and I think the switch to Turkey from Chicken is a smart idea, too. Plus the kibble size is a happy thing for her old teeth.
Best lower priced pet food
It’s great for my cats. Their fur is shiny. They’re not throwing up as much. Only drawback is, like most kids, they don’t think the nutritious stuff is as tasty as the less nutritious! I mix in a portion of the their Fancy Feast dry food to try to fight the the battle
It's cat food alright.
Got this for for my smallest cat who was showing signs of minor skin irritation. She ate the food readily enough and seemed slightly but not notably improved. Use in concert with a topical solution for best results. Otherwise it's cat food; they seemed to like it but they eat dead mice so I don't think they're connoisseurs of flavor.
Dry Skin Solved
I have a 2-year-old blue Russian. Ever since she was about 6 months she has had severe flaking near the end of her butt/near her tail. I tried adding salmon oil to her food, she hated it. I tried smothering her behind in coconut oil & it helped a bit, but when I tried this brand is when I started seeing instant change. Her dry skin has mostly cleared up (she still has a little "dandruff" but it is non-noticeable), and her coat is shiny and soooo soft. She rarely if ever throws up/has hairballs. Switching was the best thing I could have done. This is the only food I will feed both of my cats now and they both love it! So does my puppy when she sneaks her way into the cat bowl. LOL
Only kind i’ll buy!
For months my cats would throw up with every cat food they ate. Until I tried this kind… no throwing up and they always eat every bite! Will never buy another kind
