What is the shelf life of this canned food?

An unopened can of food will last until the expiration date stamped on the can. Exposure to air, light, hot temperatures and humidity speeds up the rate at which foods degrade. To limit these effects, keep the food stored in the original packaging and store in a cool, dry location. Ideally, after opening, any leftovers should be stored in the refrigerator and should be consumed within 3-5 days.

Cant open the cans

We have used Purina One canned food for our pet for years. Have ordered a couple of times from Chewy as well as bought at grocery store. These cans i recently received from Chewy are virtually impossible to open with the pull tab. Resorted to a can opener which left a jagged , sharp edge. Very nearly cut my fingers several times. My husband has attempted to open a couple as well. Needless to say, we are unhappy.

I have a Basset Hound and she is a picky eater (when it comes to healthier choices) she ate this for about 3 cans and then just stopped eating it she wouldn’t eat for a couple of days so I switched!

Good product

I ordered this food for my young Doberman. He really enjoys it and wolfs it down every time. I only rated it a 4 because the shipment was damaged and one can was open. I’ll rate it 5 stars next time if the 12-pack case arrives intact.
