This food is a 5 star dog food, totally recommend. Chewy messed up my order and sent another purina one

We have been feeding our senior dog this food for years, she loves it. I was glad to see that I could get the larger bag through Chewy.com. I was purchasing it at a a big box store and they only carried the 16# bags. I like that the kibble is small and I feel it is easier for her to chew. I have noticed her coat looks really good and she is pretty spunky for 13+ years old.

I have a 15 year old jack russel/ pug that experienced some health problems last year and was feeling tired and sluggish. This food really increased his energy and he runs around like a puppy again. To be fair, like some others, he really doesn't like the dehydrated chicken pieces but I mix in some cooked sweet potatoes or pumpkin and he will gobble it up. It's definitely helped revive him.

I have 2 senior dogs who up until this time readily ate any dry kibble I placed in their bowl. Initially, they seemed very interested in this food but within a few days I found the floor covered with the yellowish 'chicken strips' that they picked out of the food and put aside. Unfortunately these strips make up almost 50% of the food. I would recommend trying a small bag first to determine your pets reaction to the taste and texture of this food.

Our husky developed some allergies at age 2 and since then we have tried several foods with no avail. Even the really expensive stuff would cause her to scratch like mad and give her hot spots. This brand and blue wilderness are the only two she has no issues with. We tried to switch back and forth depending on season as she seems to do better with this during the warmer months and blue wilderness during the cooler. Chewy has great prices and it’s brought right to your door, how could it get any better??!!

I bought this mainly for my dog who is allergic to a lot of foods, but he’s not impressed. He will eat it as will my other boys, but you can tell it’s not a favorite.

I have 2 female Boston Terriers who are both 12 and they absolutely love this food. The pieces are small enough for their small mouths. Their coats are shiny and soft. Their still is small and firm. I would recommend this food!

I have two large adult/senior dogs (one is nearly 7 and the other is 9). Previously they were fed the Purina One SmartBlend Lamb adult formula and although they liked it, after a few months I noticed one of them was developing dry / itchy skin. Since they enjoyed the Purina One Lamb food, I decided to try the Vibrant Maturity variation... well, they both still love the taste and within two months both of them have softer coats, less dry skin and have more energy. I'm pleased with this dog food and will continue to purchase it for my pups!

You know how you get to the bottom of the bag and there are kibble crumbs? Well there were a lot of crumbs in the bag. Each time I scoop there are crumbs throughout the entire bag. My dogs love the food but that was the only issue I had.
