Feed an average size adult cat 1 can per 2-3/4 pounds of body weight daily. Feed up to twice this amount to kittens. Pregnant or nursing cats may require two to four times their normal feeding.
Please allow 7-10 days to ease the transition from your cat's current food. Each day, simply feed a little less of the previous food and a little more Purina ONE until you're feeding Purina ONE exclusively. This gradual transition will help avoid dietary upsets.
We adopted a kitten as a companion for our toy poodle, who will not tolerate other dogs. Simba turned out to be an extremely picky eater, and we kept buying and returning food. Ordered this food, and he loves it, what a relief! He is now a full grown cat (he grew really, really fast). So thankful we finally found a food he would eat.
I adopted a cat that only ate dry food. I finally found a can that he will actually eat. I tried many different brands and varieties and he chose this one. I'm so glad Chewy carries it!
First food I've found that all four cats will eat consistently and happily. It's also got a good amount of chunks relative to the gravy. The chunks are packed in there. With some other cans there's more gravy filling the can.
Parker will not eat it and Murphy does not love it either. It does not smell good and he leaves most it in the dish. I would please like a credit for at least one case if possible.
My picky cats seem to like this food but have a hard time with the bigger pieces. The gravy is a plus. Price is a bit high, but that seems to be the norm now. Will buy again.
Although all 3 of my cats love the taste of this food, it unfortunately causes upset stomach and terrible gassiness. I thought they all had Giardia because their bathroom trips smelled so bad and were runny. But after they all tested negative I withheld this food for a couple days and the digestive problems cleared up.
My cat pees a lot more with this can food. And he wasted a lot more by throwing the food on the floor.
I tried this because our normal food had gotten expensive and was not reliably in stock. My cat, who is not known for being picky, would not eat it and started a hunger strike. In general, I have had good luck with the higher levels of Purina foods (Pro plan) for my dogs, so I'm sure it's a matter of personal preference.
My cats do not like too much this food. They are not happy and I neither. I do not buy it any more
I've been looking for a tasty wet food for my senior cat to get more protein and moisture, and unfortunately he would not touch this. It has a good amount of juice with the shreds, which I thought he'd like. I'll be giving this to the barn cats as they are not picky.
