My cat always enjoyed the smaller packages of this food so I purchased the 16 LB bag. My cat immediately stopped eating. I have switched to another brand but occasionally offered her the Purina ONE to see what happened. She refuses it. I put some out for wild cats and they left it uneaten. I considered donating the bag to an animal shelter but decided not to. I didn't want to give it a star, but the system required it. 5 Thumbs down.

On the search for a back up food for two adults with a history of UTI’s and crystals, this version was readily accepted and with no issues. I will keep this on hand along with their Science Diet CD wet to offer a little variety. I also recommend the wet version, both cats who ate it actually preferred it over the prescription canned food. The food was eaten in its entirety and the cats liked it.

My cats LOVE this

I was a little hesitant to buy this because of the couple reviews that said cats didn't like it. But the minute I opened the bag they swarmed and attacked the food like it was bacon or cream cheese (some of my cats faves) I don't know if this actually helps with Urinary Tract health, I'm using this in addition to prescription wet food so hopefully it helps.

Refused to eat

My cats (I have 10 inside) normally love Purina products so I bought this to help prevent urinary problems but they refused to eat it (they ate it after not eating for a few days) so I won't be buying it again. Not sure why they wouldn't eat it, but they would go days before they would touch it.

My cats no longer care for this food

I’ve been feeding my cats the Purina urinary tract food for years now and I’ve never had an issue with them not eating it. I recently bought a bag through chewy instead of at the grocery store and my cats are basically tolerating it because it’s what we have. I’ve never seen them leave food in their dishes as often as they are and they are chewy the kibble pieces up and spitting them out. I’m not sure if Purina recently changed their formula or not, but all of a sudden my cats don’t like it. I’ll be trying something different now.

High Hopes Dashed

I had such high hopes for this food. We had amazing luck with the Purina One dog food and I was looking for an alternative to the expensive urinary tract cat food I have been purchasing. My cats were all eating the dog food, fighting us for our food, devouring treats, almost with our fingers included, making me think their bowls were empty. Turns out, they were completely full and all four cats flat refused to eat this stuff! I could not be more disappointed! Purina One needs to revisit this formula. I see some excellent reviews and I am genuinely flummoxed.

this was recommended by my vet. one of my cats was having problems with urine crystallization and the vet said that this would help him just as much as the much more expensive Hills Rx brand. so far so good. they did not initially like this food as much as the old food. I mixed it in with thier old food for a week or 2. now, all is well and he is doing better

Cats won’t eat it

I have four cats who usually love their varieties of Purina One. Bought this when one of our boys got crystals and none of the cats will eat it. Found out youngest eating the dog food the other day he was so hungry! Not sure the problem but never had zero cats eat the food before this one.

I know some ppl try to sane money. Because 50$ for 5 lbs of speacial food is crazy. But when you feel you might have found a deal for your cat who had issues you think you hope it will work. Nope cat is going right back to having issues 5 days into starting this food
