Great Way to Stay On Top of Your Kitty's Health
I received this product for free for the purpose of my review. All opinions are my own. If you are like me and consider your kitties your children, then you need to get a Purina Petivity Smart Cat Litterbox Monitor System. It is the most helpful way to stay on top of your cat's health and wellness. Super easy to use and connect with the free Petivity App. Setup was quick, easy and only took 10 minutes tops. Once set up, Petivity tracks your cat's litter box usage and habits. You get alerts any time your furbaby enters the litter box, if they urinate or have a BM, any changes in their weight, etc. In addition to the alerts, you also get insight reports via email which show changes in weight, changes in frequency of litter box usage, changes in duration of litter box usage, etc. The great part is that you can use one Petivity monitor for multiple cats. I love that this device really helps me to stay up to date on my kitties' health so if any concerns are detected, I will know even if my furbabies don't exhibit any behaviors or symptoms. Petivity makes me feel like the best cat mama!
Great tool with a lot of potential!
The Petivity smart litterbox monitor has so much to offer! Being able to track cats’ weights and how many times they use the box is so convenient. The mobile app allows me to keep track of litterbox habits, and when it works smoothly, I’m sure it is an excellent tool. However, setting it up initially was more complicated than I expected, and I had to troubleshoot connectivity problems several times. I was hoping to use it to monitor foster kittens, but because I often get litters in which several of the kittens have roughly the same weight, I don’t know if the “training” will be sensitive enough to differentiate among the individual kittens. In the end, it’s a really neat concept that could benefit the average kitty owner! I received this product for free for the purpose of my review. All opinions are my own.
So Worth It!
My cats are in good health but they are getting older so I worry that something could be wrong and I'd miss it. That's where the Purina Petivity Smart Litter Box Monitor System comes in. It helps me monitor for issues, which gives me peace of mind. The device itself is lightweight, doesn't take up extra room, simple to set up and I was able to use it with my existing litter box. The app is easy to navigate, doesn't take up much room on my phone and after helping it learn for a few days, the A.I. was able to take over and differentiate between my two cats. I had no issues with connectivity and our litter box in in our cement basement. You do get a lot of non important alerts which is a very minor downside but it's nothing that is so much of an issue that it lessens my liking of the product. Great product for monitoring cats health
I’ve been using the Petivity Litterbox Monitor for the last month to track my cat’s health and habits. Before this, I never knew a product like this existed but I am glad it found me. It is very easy to use and very easy to set up to wifi and your phone for easy tracking. All you do is set this under your litter box, connect it to wifi and download the app to your phone. You will receive alerts on your phone when your cat uses the liter box. It even tells you their weight and notifies if there is any issues to speak to the vet about. I definitely recommend this product to others.
Helps Monitor Your Cats Health
The Petivity Litterbox Monitor helps you to keep your pet healthy. It works with WiFi to keep track of any changes to your cats weight, any changes to waste output and any changes to how often they use the litter. It can keep track of more than one cat in the household. When it detects a cat using the litter box, it will ask you which cat it is. It can also determine if a cat went in and came right back out without using the box and when you clean the litter box. It will also give you alerts to clean the box every twelve hours. Awesome litterbox monitor system
This Petivity Smart Litterbox Monitor is amazing! You just place the scale underneath your existing litter box and register your cat(s) profiles. It takes either batteries or a power cord (both are provided) but we went with the batteries considering where we have it located (no outlets nearby). We have (2) cats in our home, so it did take about 4 days of confirming which cat was using the litter box which was easy to do based on their predicted weight in the app, but afterwards it was mostly accurate at registering which cat used it and what type of "event" was done. I've been using it for a few weeks now and it's such an interesting add-on to our kitty litter box! I have not experienced anything out of the ordinary with their "events" so I can't speak to any possible notifications about any health concerns or issues, but so far it's been great with keeping up on their daily activities while we're gone for the day. Great idea!
I just started using the Petivity less than 24 hours ago and am VERY impressed! I am just trying 1 monitor out, and haave 4 cats and 5 litter boxes so will need at least 2 more monitors, but with 3 of the cats older (7 and 9) and one showing the beginning signs of kidney problems, this will be a necessary tool to help keep watch for issues! My 1 monitor is still in training mode but already helped me learn the weights of my cats and who does what!
Nicer than I expected
I received this product for free for the purpose of my review. All opinions are my own. I have two cats that are currently healthy, but I worry about their health as they are getting older. I've looked at expensive cat litter machines that also monitor the cats health, but wasn't willing to spend that much money. The Petivity is a simple device that looks like a large scale. I placed my large litterbox onto the platform and was worried that it was going to be too big/heavy. However, the setup was easy and after a few days of "training" the app, it is now monitoring both my cats bathroom habits and weights. I have the Petivity inside a large wooden cabinet, in our laundry room, but have had no issues with connectivity. I have one fat cat on a diet and one very slender cat. It is nice to get accurate weights (pounds & ounces) on a regular basis. Petivity is an inexpensive way to have piece of mind with my two aging fur babies.
Decent
This product is slim, not too bulky and easy to setup. It has clear instructions with batteries or plug in. This has helped me keep track of both of my cats. You have to watch them closely in the beginning for the “training process” to know which cat is which. I get a lot of non cat activity notifications but for the most part it’s spot on to which cat is using it and what they are doing. I received this product for free for the purpose of my review. So Far So Good
I was gifted this Petivity Litterbox Monitor in exchange for my honest review. So far, I am really enjoying being able to monitor more closely my cat's litterbox business. Set up was extremely easy and the app is easy to maneuver. Downsides are that I get lots of alerts that are "non cat related" events and they are a bit of a nuisance. Secondly, I wish the app details were a bit more intriquit. It's too basic/simple. Just wish there was more to it honestly for such a large piece of equipment, just seems like there would be more to it. Regardless, it's something new and I appreciate what it does do.
