NOT a replacement for the Yak Milk chews
By Stan on Feb 19, 2021
I bought these hoping for a cheaper, long-chewing treat to replace the much more expensive Yak milk "bones." They are hard but not nearly as hard as the yak treats and he chews them up in a few minutes vs hours for the yak treats. (He is a very aggressive chewer. He does like them but for the amount of time they last and the amount of calories he gets, NOT worth the price and not good for him (even cutting them in two which is hard to do, they are too much treat for a small dog when they only last a few minutes).

Almost Good
By danakins on Feb 12, 2021
My lab really likes the small size of these bones so I thought the large would be great and occupy him for a lot longer. I don't know why, but every time I gave him one of the large ones, he took it outside and did something with it, hid it or something, but did not eat it. There is no way he could be chewing those big things that quickly. I don't know what he's doing with them, but they cost too much to just end up in a hole. I still give him the small sized ones, which are actually not very small, and we're both happy with that.

Promo deal
By Mamdygurl on Feb 21, 2021
I got these only because they were advertised as free with a purchase of purina smart blend dog food. This is my usual brand so I figured why not? It seems they were not free and I don’t know if I messed up the code input or what. My dog who is a Rottie seems to really enjoy these although they don’t last too long.

Oh boy! or girl!!
By Chewyfan on Jan 7, 2021
Oh my sweet baby girl just loves these!! I was looking for something new as a chewable treat for her and I read a lot of positive reviews about them and decided to give them a try. I'm sure glad I did. When I reach for these I can almost see my girl do a happy dance waiting for me to open the package. I give one to her and tell her to take it to her rug and she grabs it and runs to her rug and starts enjoying the bone. She is a Shar-Pei Boxer mix and about 80lbs. so I get the ones for large dogs. She can plow through one in about 15 - 20 minutes so they don't last long but I don't have to worry about them breaking her teeth and it's wonderful to see the joy she gets out of chewing on them

Longer Lasting Dog Chew
By DogMomx4 on Feb 18, 2021 Top 50 Contributor
Tried these chews on a whim and have been very happy with them. Some treats don’t last 2 minutes with heavy chewers, these bones last several hours for my most aggressive chewer. Decent ingredients with not a lot of icky added stuff. I’d definitely try them again.

Lasted longere than I thought
By Lain on Feb 9, 2021
Winner with my dog! My Pit-mix is a chewer and can demolish "long lasting" hard chews. Purina Prime Bones lasted longer than I thought they would (~15 minutes) and my dog loves them. I will buy again.

Goldendoodle Loves These
By Gramma on Feb 5, 2021
My 75 lb. goldendoodle is a strong chewer and he loves these. They seem to keep him busy for at least 20 min. and I think they are a healthy safe choice for his need to chew. Safer than rawhide chews

Don't last as long as I expected
By Timoti on Jan 1, 2021
They are hard, so I thought it would take a day or two for it to disappear. Our small dog went through it in about 15 minutes. He's a chewer, nothing he shouldn't, but he will destroy his toys if he doesn't have enough chewing in his day. He loves these, but just imagine a bigger dog with one of these: ten seconds?

Good stuff
By AmyJo on Jan 12, 2021
All three of our dogs really like these. It takes them close to ten minutes to demolish them, which is better than taking two minutes (as is the case with most busy bone types of products). I like the limited ingredient concept.

Dogs Loved Them
By AnnB on Feb 9, 2021
I have a Rottweiler and a half-Rot. They love the sticks. They are busy chewing for a while. When I hand them over, they each run to a separate room to chew.
