When I first gave it to my 4 year old golden retriever she smelled it and wouldn't have anything to do with it. The next day it was still on the floor where I gave it to her, she still hadn't touched it. I went on with daily chores and came back about 30 minutes later. I saw her chewing on something and to my surprise she was chewing on it. The major problem now was it was stuck in her upper jaw sideways between her teeth. I pulled it out of her mouth and threw it in the trash. Word to the wise if you give one of these to your dog stay near and keep an eye on what is going on with it. Another comment it turned into a lard mass that I would never let my dog swallow. Buyer beware!
Not super long lasting

1) these stink. I remember why I don’t usually buy this item for my dogs- the smell is awful. The dogs love it though.
2) they say “ultra long lasting”, one lab didn’t like it, the other lab demolished it in about 2 minutes, and my chi/doxie had his gone in about 10 minutes. Probably ok though, cause it’s easier to supervise them when they can eat them so fast.
3) 2/3 seemed to really enjoy these. Super sturdy Chew sticks make me nervous with my dogs because I worry about choking (they aren’t smart- and they love treats so they’re way too likely to swallow things), but they did pretty good with these and seemed to really like the taste.
Gone in a flash

I picked these up for my two small dogs just to see how they'd like them and if they'd be worth adding as a weekly treat. Well.... They ate them up so quickly that I wasn't even sure if I'd actually given them to the dogs. Hahaha! Will definitely buy again, but I wish they were less expensive per piece. Almost $24 a month to give a treat to two dogs only 4 times, is a bit much.
Do not recommend

I have a large dog and he ate the whole treat in roughly 10 minutes. The way the treat breaks up when they chew it I was really worried he was going to choke on one of the smaller pieces as he was eating it; definitely watch your per closely while they eat it. That being said I do not recommend this. Almost immediately after finishing the treat he threw the whole thing up, not sure which ingredient didn't agree with him but we will not be trying these again
Yes, says the dog

My dog is a shepherd/Pyrenees and is very appreciative of the Prime Bones. The mere presence of the bag sends her to a sitting position, feet on the floor, fully focused. The bones are long-lasting, especially when she chooses to delay the experience and hide them in the couch or under the pillow. I keep several on hand for those days that I am gone longer than usual.

Received as a gift with purchase. This treat was completely devoured in less than five minutes. Not for big chewers...after seeing ingredients, would not buy anyway. Was worried all night my pup would get sick, but she was fine. I don't think they are meant to be eaten. She obviously loved the taste, though!!!

I got this treat for free with an order of dog food and my dogs loved it. It’s a tough chew (I couldn’t cut it with a knife) but as they chew and it gets wet it starts to break apart into chewable pieces. It lasted about 45 minutes with my beagles and they were so happy afterwards they immediately went into a fit of zoomies! Definitely would get it again.
Not worth the cals

My 6 month old golden (didn’t see that this was for adult dogs until I came here to review this - whoops) enjoyed this, but it was gone in minutes. For a treat with over 200 calories, I would hope it would last a lot longer. I’d much prefer for her to enjoy a filled bone or Himalayan to have as a treat.

These chews are perfect, both for my 9 month old Super Chewer Pit/Hound mix Koda, and my 12 yo Mixed guy Frankie who has some tartar issues. They serve as a treat for coming inside, which Koda still needs extra encouragement for. Great find, ordering again!
My girl took one sniff and walked away

Bought these for the 1st time since my dog loves to chew on treats. She took 1 sniff and walked away. I left it out thinking she might change her mind. The chew is in the same place I put it. She is a very picky dog I will say, so I am not blaming the treat. But I spent almost $14.
