Had gotten one of these for free with a previous purchase. I have 5 Beagles, so I tried cutting this thing up in 5 pieces... Let’s just say it does not cut well, but gets eaten quite fast! I gave up trying to cut it and gave it to my youngest most chewy Beagle bagel instead. He ate it in less than 10 minutes. I think his kong filled with peanut butter and then frozen keeps him occupied a lot longer because with that he tries to get ever bit of the frozen goodness out. 4 stars because although it did not last long with my Beagle, I think it’s a great treat!
Not for my 4 year old golden retriever
on Feb 26, 2021
When I first gave it to my 4 year old golden retriever she smelled it and wouldn't have anything to do with it. The next day it was still on the floor where I gave it to her, she still hadn't touched it. I went on with daily chores and came back about 30 minutes later. I saw her chewing on something and to my surprise she was chewing on it. The major problem now was it was stuck in her upper jaw sideways between her teeth. I pulled it out of her mouth and threw it in the trash. Word to the wise if you give one of these to your dog stay near and keep an eye on what is going on with it. Another comment it turned into a lard mass that I would never let my dog swallow. Buyer beware!
Not super long lasting
on Feb 23, 2021
1) these stink. I remember why I don’t usually buy this item for my dogs- the smell is awful. The dogs love it though.
2) they say “ultra long lasting”, one lab didn’t like it, the other lab demolished it in about 2 minutes, and my chi/doxie had his gone in about 10 minutes. Probably ok though, cause it’s easier to supervise them when they can eat them so fast.
3) 2/3 seemed to really enjoy these. Super sturdy Chew sticks make me nervous with my dogs because I worry about choking (they aren’t smart- and they love treats so they’re way too likely to swallow things), but they did pretty good with these and seemed to really like the taste.
Not for my dog

Perhaps I did not read description well as I did not intend to buy an edible chew but instead a bone to chew. It took my schnauzer exactly 20 minutes to devour. If you are looking for a snack then this is your item.
Not entirely sure...

There was just one fat chew in this package. Perhaps I didn’t read the full description, but I thought there were two in the pkg.
Anyway, our med size dog liked it just fine, although due to the shortness and thickness, I kept an eye on her due to concern that she might try to swallow too much at one time.
Gone in a flash

I picked these up for my two small dogs just to see how they'd like them and if they'd be worth adding as a weekly treat. Well.... They ate them up so quickly that I wasn't even sure if I'd actually given them to the dogs. Hahaha! Will definitely buy again, but I wish they were less expensive per piece. Almost $24 a month to give a treat to two dogs only 4 times, is a bit much.
Yes, says the dog

My dog is a shepherd/Pyrenees and is very appreciative of the Prime Bones. The mere presence of the bag sends her to a sitting position, feet on the floor, fully focused. The bones are long-lasting, especially when she chooses to delay the experience and hide them in the couch or under the pillow. I keep several on hand for those days that I am gone longer than usual.

Both my dogs loved them! They are cheap for the amount of time my dogs were distracted by them and they came back wanting more. Not super hard on the teeth but I would watch with older dogs. My younger husky is a chewer and he definitely enjoyed these!
Do not recommend

I have a large dog and he ate the whole treat in roughly 10 minutes. The way the treat breaks up when they chew it I was really worried he was going to choke on one of the smaller pieces as he was eating it; definitely watch your per closely while they eat it. That being said I do not recommend this. Almost immediately after finishing the treat he threw the whole thing up, not sure which ingredient didn't agree with him but we will not be trying these again
A Great Chew

I loved gnawing on this chew. Tasty and solid. It couldn’t be cut into smaller pieces, so I got the whole “bone.” Yummy! My dog friends will love it. It’s sturdily packaged and not messy on the floor, even though I’m a known drooler! Not too small for my Rhodesian Ridgeback mouth.
