Feed one 10 oz container per 10-12.5 lbs of body weight daily, divided into two or more meals. Adjust feeding amount as needed to maintain ideal body condition. Feed this product exclusively or mix with Pro Plan Adult 7+ Bright Mind Dry Dog Food; one 10 oz container replaces approximately 3/4 cup of the dry formula.
Although you'll be anxious to see the difference Pro Plan can make in your dog, please allow 7 - 10 days to ease the transition from your dog's current food. Each day, simply feed a little less of the previous food and a little more Pro Plan until you're feeding Pro Plan exclusively. This gradual transition will help avoid dietary upsets.

Elderly dogs

I have 2 elderly toy poodles. Joshua is going on 15 and has been having memory problems and is just slowly going down hill. I bought this to see if it makes any difference. So far I haven't seen much but it's only been a week. But he hasn't gotten any worse. Isaac is just as bouncy as anything so it may be working for him.

I bought this food hoping to see a little difference in my 11 year old Pom. He was getting to where he was sleeping most of the time and just wandering around more frequently. It was recommended by his vet too. He has been eating it about two weeks. He seems more alert and wants to play more. He is so excited when it’s time to eat. Before, he would just sniff and walk away and eventually eat a bit later. Now it feels like he watches the clock and sits by his bowl! He loves it and I like the little differences that I’m seeing!

Gassy and poopy

I was told to get this by my vet. I have a 17 year old chihuahua. He was on freshpet before which he loved. This was softer so I thought I’d give it a try. He has been on it for about two weeks now. His poop has been nothing but runny and he is sooo gassy. He’s never had gas issues like this in his whole life. Hard pass on this .

My Bassett’s love this added to their food dry bright minds food. I just feel the price is to high for them to have it every day. Our boys have seizures and our neurologist strongly suggested bright minds for them both. We will continue to feed them the dry food and purchase this as a treat.

This senior dog food is fine and my two senior dogs have had no problem eating it during a transition from dry food. The problem was not the food, but the fact that I thought I was ordering moist food for senior dogs...my mistake.

When I can get her to eat it the Bright Mind works just like on tv. My old dog gets bright eyed and playful. Problem is getting her to eat it. I keep kibble out and give her wet. I add cheese or ranch dressing to help. (She asked for the ranch but cheese was my idea). All the other dogs love it.
