I have a 15 year old Boston Terrier who is extremely picky. She had stopped eating most everything I had tried but she loves this stuff. I have never fed my dogs wet food, but she loves it and has had no digestive issues with going to wet food. She has picked back up a couple of needed pounds and seems more active.
Bright Mind was recommended by the vet and we're using it as part of our dog's regimen for managing her dementia. She likes the Turkey and Brown Rice flavor (not kibble).
Our 11 yr old lab was just diagnosed with an inoperable tumor in her neck. Her dry food was causing her to gag and she was having difficulty swallowing it. We had to find a soft canned food with the right consistency to mix with her ground up dry dog food (also Pro Plan). We grind up one cup of the dry food and mix with one container of this for each meal. She loves this stuff! It is making her last few weeks more enjoyable and she gobbles it up like it's a gourmet meal. Thankful we found this and that chewy has had it consistently in stock. It is a bit expensive but it is worth it as we try to make our dog as comfortable as possible in her last days.
I add a bit of the Purina Pro Plan Bright Mind Senior Adult 7+ to my Bernese's kibble. Even though it is not the sole ingredient of his meals, I can say he is cognitively brighter and more enthusiastic to learn new things. He absolutely loves it! I have fed him both the turkey and brown rice and the beef and rice. Brody does get a bit bossy when I'm making his meals, always wanting more of his wet food. That's a two paws up endorsement.
I thought this would be a great addition to the dry bright minds for my senior, unfortunately while he does love it, it gives him soft/runny poop so I will not buy it again.
Our vet recommended Bright Mind for our nearly thirteen year old Boston Terrier, who has been showing signs of Canine Cognitive Disorder. She's been eating it for roughly three weeks and seems to be doing better. This product can only be found on Chewy.com and one other online site. Thank you Chewy!
I bought both beef and turkey for the variety. She did NOT like it! She wouldn't eat it and when she nibbled, she only ate a little. She snared down the Royal Canin. This Purina Pro Plan was also more expensive than the Royal Canin, overall.
This food was recommended by my vet because my dog is getting older and a little, well - senile. This food makes a difference in her mind. She is more alert at 15 and has a better attitude. She seems more happy and the vet says she's "full of her little life still." This comes in all flavors.
Purina’s “bright mind” food was my vet’s recommendation for my aging 65 pound Kuvasz mix. Because of other health issues he needs a mix of wet and dry food, and this wet food is tasty! (Well, it looks really tasty, and he loves it.). But the plastic trays are horrible from a sustainable, recyclable perspective. Why can’t Purina put this in cans??? I’ll buy a different product, but I’d prefer to buy this one, if it was packaged in cans.l
Very quick and efficient delivery...thank you..always have what I need
