Contains chicken meal and dog dislikes most recent bag
I switched my puppy from the chicken to the beef flavor because I suspected that she may have chicken allergy, but it turns out that the beef flavor still contains chicken meal. She liked the chicken flavor and the first bag of beef, but for some reason, she suddenly stopped liking it when the second bag of beef puppy pro plan arrived. She has been leaving it in her bowl from breakfast until past her normal dinnertime, not eating her dinner until the middle of the night (if ever), and eating less than the normal amount. I don't know if something was wrong with the batch (I threw away the bag after transferring the food into an airtight container), they changed the formulation, or my dog just got picky. I am going to switch her to a different food.
Not Happy in Florida
For some reason they always put my big packages out by my garage and if it’s raining they get all wet. I have asked many many times for them to put it in my front entranceway which they just don’t do and I don’t know why
Picky Eater
My Bouvier des Flanders just nibbles on this food. She just does not like any dog food that I have purchased. At least she does eat this in her time. At 8 months she is just not food driven. Forget treats she will not eat them either.
Favorite puppy food
This is my all time favorite puppy food to feed my pups. It’s higher calorie and helps my slimmer guys catch up. They seem to like the taste and had good poops on this food. I highly recommend
Satisfied Puppy
We feed purina pro to our large dog already and the new puppy kept sneaking off to eat her adult food until we started feeding him this. Purina pro is high quality food for a great price and will forever be in my dogs’ bowls.
My puppy loves it!
Our growing lab cross loves it. I use it to bribe him, reward him, treat him, and he’s still excited and gobbles it up for every meal. He’s growing so quickly. I’m switching to auto ship now that I know it’s working for him.
They Weren’t Fans for Long!
All three of our pups (including two food-oriented Newfies) only liked this food for a couple of weeks before they refused to eat it. I liked the ingredients list and the price, but we couldn’t convince our three to eat it!
My puppies gobble it up!
I purchased this food to get my two GSD/Malinois puppies (5 months old) away from a predominately chicken-based diet. I have 5 dogs and *all* of them wanted to eat it. I didn't have any GI upset when I transitioned their food which was really nice. I have my two other shepherds (3 y/o and 2 y/o) on the adult version of this food and they also really enjoy it. I'm very happy with this food! I will be keeping my pups on it until they transition to adult food.
Purina Puppy
My dog did not like this as much. She loved the beef and rice with the shredded chunks. This did not have it, so she did not eat it very well.

I thought it was time to switch up dry dog food for our active, nearly 10 month old golden retreiver pups. They love the purina pro plan beef and rice.
