I’m amazed how well this product works. Suddenly one of my cats could no longer tolerate her own hair from grooming during summer shedding season and was coughing up large hairballs daily for a couple weeks. I found out about it after trip to the vet and a tube of medicinal brown gunk that got all over the furniture didn’t work - she wouldn’t lick it off her paws, but it would slide off onto the furniture! Then I found this product and it works 99%. I say 99% because she still coughs up a small hairball probably once a week since she started eating this food. But both my cats love this food and now the coughed-upper absolutely has to have this food. I tried to use up her regular food (which is for urinary tract same flavor same product), but it was back to the same problem, so this is their new and best food forever.
Using this food she has less episodes now . She could get 2 a week. Way way less now :)
My cat is no longer throwing up hairbals!
Our two 3 yr old cats love this!
My cat likes the salmon and ocean whitefish and tunna flavors, and it seems to help her. She does not care much for the chicken. She was constipated by hairballs and is now having regular poos. I have also added a probiotic and a hairball support supplement. Fingers crossed her happy state lasts.
This is the only food that help my cat with her vomiting. She does eat too fast, but slows down to enjoy the purine brands
Served my cat this item for the first time today. I had been feeding him Pro Plan Indoor Hairball Control Salmon & Rice and Turkey & Rice which he loves. I had previously fed him Fancy Feast poultry and seafood flavors which he gobbled down until I started him on the Pro Plan dry food. Now he takes a few bites of the Fancy Feast and walks away. When I served him this item, he merely sniffed it and then buried it. Didn't even take one bite.
Initially I searched item in Chewy and told not available. I googled and Chewy came up?
Gracie and her sister Lily love it. Both are 15 and prefer fishy flavors. This food is maintaining their shiny coats, energy levels and overall health, with a noticeable reduction in hairballs.
I bought this food because I have an older cat that fights constipation regularly. The cat that needed this wouldn't eat it and the other cat did eat it and had the runs for many days, so I had to quit feeding it to him. I did not see how it helped with hairballs at all, as both my guys still throw them up. Too expensive besides. Now it just sits on the shelf.
