Lost my trust
Our first doodle was on Purina Pro Plan Salmon Sensitive Skin for a while until something changed and he got the runs. That was 2.5 years ago. Now our second doodle came to us on this Lamb and Rice and his poop went from squishy and a pain to pick up to full on liquid. The kibble shape and color is different than the bag we brought home from the breeder. I unfortunately will not be feeding my dogs Purina ever again.
Good product recommended by Vet
Our 7 month old Shepenees devours this food. She is healthy and energetic and growing big and strong. I love Chewy's lightning fast shipping. Order was processed same day (Sunday) and delivered Tuesday. Can't hardly beat that. Prices are reasonable considering service and convenience.
So far so good
We switched our 10 week old boxer puppy to this a couple of weeks ago. He was originally eating purina one large breed puppy food (chicken). He was having diarrhea, maybe not all due to the food but at least partly bc it has stopped since we switched. Our older dog does well with lamb and rice and it seems our puppy does too. (Pic of Louie bc he's cute) 😊

Lamb and Rice is the best puppy food ever! My puppies turned one in August 2023 and they want eat anything else. They will Stay on the puppy food for another year.
Best food for our dogs
All five of our dogs have been raised on Parina pro plan food. They’ve grown from healthy puppies and too healthy and lively adults. We’d never switch to anything else.
Very fast delivery
Overall very satisfied with everything regarding Chewy. I’ve always had a great experience in the past, and this order was no different. Dog food and treats arrived next day after I placed order.
Helped my Puppies Stomach
We bought this food for our new puppy after trying the adult version for our other dog. (Unfortunately they discontinued the adult version) our puppy was having diarrhea constantly for about a week and within 2 days of switching to this food his stools started to become more regular! This has helped potty training as he’s not having stomach issues randomly anymore! We love this food. Please bring back the adult small breed lamb and rice version!
This is the one!
My 7 month old puppy loves this food. After he was having issues with his old food upsetting his system (wasn't even finishing his food either), we decided to give this food a try. He has had no problems since switching! He loves this stuff.
Vet Recommended
Puppy was eating Pedigree for cost purposes, but it created perpetual loose stool, so we decided to switch. Vet recommended this brand and we chose lamb over salmon. I appreciate that the first ingredient is lamb. The main ingredient is corn meal in Pedigree. Stool instantly improved upon an immediate switch and became solid almost overnight. Price is manageable and is worth the extra cost to have a healthier and happier dog.
Puppy Chow
Sophia is a 7.5 month old puppy. I obviously have a princess on my hands. Sophia is not crazy about this food but eats it, well because that's all there is. Chewy employees have been great in assisting us find the "perfect product". So therefore we have to shop around yet again.
