    New brand for sensitive skin

    My new beagle puppy has been on American Journey puppy food, which he enjoyed. However he has developed a skin rash on his chest which my vet is aware and has treated. It has continued and I asked Chewy to recommend another brand that may help. He has been on Purina Pro plan for sensitive skin for 2 My new beagle puppy has been on American Journey puppy food, which he enjoyed. However he has developed a skin rash on his chest which my vet is aware and has treated. It has continued and I asked Chewy to recommend another brand that may help. He has been on Purina Pro plan for sensitive skin for 2 weeks, likes it and redness has subsided. I am anxious to see if further improvement continues.     Mine hates it

    My dog may just be picky (and has a sensitive stomach) but he hates this. He would avoid it until he was just too hungry. At first I thought he just disliked dry kibble (because he wasn’t fond of the prior brand either) so I tried to make it more appealing by adding wet food, broth, or stew toppers My dog may just be picky (and has a sensitive stomach) but he hates this. At first I thought he just disliked dry kibble (because he wasn’t fond of the prior brand either) so I tried to make it more appealing by adding wet food, broth, or stew toppers. Even though it says sensitive skin and stomach it hasn’t helped his frequent soft stool. Finally I got two new brands (bixbi rawbble and hills science diet) and by comparison he LOVES those brands. It turns out he likes dry kibble enough, just not Purina ProPlan. … more
