Do you have a puppy food for allergies?
Answer by aclemFeb 09, 2023
depends on what they are allergic to, most common allergies are corn and beef. If you haven't done the allergy testing to see what the allergy is I would recommend trying the Diamond naturals brands before going to a specific allergy food. vets will recommend pro plan ( contains corn) or science diet ( super expensive). if it is a large breed dog stay away from grain free foods.

My PUPPIES LOVE IT

My 11 year old dog died in October. We bought a Caviler King Charles Spaniel Puppy that my husband wanted. The breeder had him on Royal Canin breed brand. It worked until the time they instructed us to quit putting Karo syrup in the mix - supposedly, due to hypoglycemic issues. From there, we went through several different brands. I was extremely frustrating and EXPENSIVE. In March, we got a second puppy, a Cavachon. They supplied us with Purina Puppy Pro. We were still hoping to finish up the at that time, current food, Blue Buffalo but, par for the course, our purebred rarely ate. Our Cavachon kept investigating the Purina Pro. One day, I decided to put the BB in one bowl and the PP in another. Both of the dogs ravished it. I refilled it. I bought a smaller bag first in fear of wasted even more money. Luckily, both my Caviler and Cavachon have continued to eat it and want more! Since I am disabled, I am giving my other food to the men's mission in town for the homeless who have dogs but can't feed them. Chewy wants me to return them but I put too much on my husband already. Thank goodness for Purina Puppy Pro. I don't know what they do differently but it works! I have had dogs my entire life and never had one this finicky. Thank you, Purina!

Great Dog food

My service from Chewy is great. I only have on complete, when I go into the " Manage my Account" to add something for the coming delivery, I can't seem to get it added. What am I doing wrong?

They Love It!

This is the second time buying this dry dogfood for my puppies. They love it! A lot of the Purina Proplan has brown rice. My pups aren't too fond of it but this one is regular rice.

Terrific food

I am a three month old West Highland White Terrier and my Mom buys me the best food possible. I am pretty busy running around all the time, so I need great food to keep me going. Mom just started taking me on a mile walk so I need lots of good food to keep my energy up. I love this kibble.Eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Great puppyfood

Pro plan puppy is great. I kept my Frenchie and pug puppies on it and their stool was solid. They look great and no skin issues.

Purina Pro Plan Puppy small breed no more

Unfortunately my puppy developed adverse reactions to this food during my last shipment. She started throwing up and having diarrhea and losing immense amounts of hair. It was not until we changed her to Hill Science that after a couple of days she was back to her normal self.

Good Food - Puppy Likes

This seems really good. I have a new puppy - breeder fed Pro-Plan Sport which only comes in huge bags. I picked this to transition to and have had no problems. He seems to like it even better than what the breeder sent home with me.

Indigestions

This is the third Purina brand puppy food that I tried and the second Pro line product, but it will be the last. My breeder was using Pirina so I thought I should stick to the same, but my puppy hated the one with shredded chicken in it and was having indigestion with this one. For weeks she had soft stool 5-6 times a day and it was miserable for both of us. We switched to another brand and she is doing much better.
