Prior to surgery my dog would not touch dog food. Purdue recommended this food post stomach surgery and he gobbles it up like it's people food. They do make a version of this that he will not eat that does not say 'naturals' on the label. This one has better ingredients. I am so happy he likes this one.
Our current foster came to us as an owner surrender for "moving" but I suspect it likely had to do with bloody diarrhea and liver issues. The shelter suggested the EN formula so it would be easier for her to digest. I decided to order the naturals line as other folks had commented on less preservatives and such and that being easier for the liver to break down. I also started adding a probiotic and some other supplements to her food. She happily gobbles up the EN. I can't say which item has cleared up her #2s, but I am grateful that they are solid and regular at this point. I will keep her on this food until I am told otherwise. She is getting an ultrasound today to investigate possible Cushings. Hoping we can continue to improve her health and keep her happy and comfortable for as long as possible.
As an older dog, my 14 year old cockapoo had some digestive issues. Her vet started her on the ProPlan Vet Diets EN. I was getting the cans from my vet. I eventually started to order through Chewy. When I saw that the EN line came in NATURALS, I was thrilled! My pup loves the taste, I love the ingredient listing and especially that the first ingredient is chicken!!
Sophie likes the canned EN Natural. I like it because it’s first ingredient is chicken.
My dogs like this the soft food better only because they are used to eating soft food from when I made it homemade
My dogs have been prescribed the dry and wet versions of the EN food for GI issues. They're not a huge fan of the dry food, but love the wet food. I always have extra cans on hand to use as toppers or while we're waiting for a vet visit
Dogs love the taste. Great for digestive problem.
Dogs really like this. Vet prescribed when girls started experiencing stomach and intestinal issues. Good quality, happy pups.
Considering the way the cans were packed, they obviously were shipped as dented cans. For $50 a case, we expected more from Chewy.
Helps my pup stay healthy after major surgery which removed half her liver. Plus, she likes it! Delivery was quick. I don't need fifty characters to make this review.
