Not Picky Dog Friendly

My vet put my 4.5 year old husky on this food because she’s been having issues with ulcers/bloody stool. Her vet wanted her on this food until we could get her in to see an internal medicine specialist and quite frankly she hates it. I usually give her a few scoops of wet food over her normal kibble and she down right refuses to eat (which makes her problems worse). The only reason this gets 2 stars is because my 4 month old husky puppy LOVES this food and it helps keep a sensitive husky stomach in balance. I guess I’ll have to keep looking for digestive diets in the meantime… maybe we’ll go back to using the Hill’s Digestive Care wet food.

Purina EN for Dogs

Started this food from my vet with my dog who passed away, and then picked it up again for my Blue Roan and Tan male. He has a sensitive stomach and he tolerates this food better than any other I have tried.

Causes diarrhea at times

For my 14-year-old cockapoo: We use the dry version of this food, and I add a few spoonfuls of the canned food (which he loves) to his morning meal. Every few weeks he gets diarrhea, which dissipates after I stop giving him the canned food. He loves this food, but his stomach doesn't tolerate it, so I'm going to stop giving it completely.

Bent cans in case of dog food

Very disappointed in my case of dog food. Most of the cans were bent and one was bent to the point it had opened and was molded inside. Will order elsewhere next time.

Senior dog feels great again

Our vet put my dog on this food when she was having problems with diarrhea. It solved her diarrhea problem right away and my dog loves this food. The food has helped her digestion and I can tell she feels so much better now. To keep her digestive system happy at 15 years old I give her a small amount once each day with her regular food.

Must be good!!

Daisy is on this diet because she gets upset stomach easily. This is the first prescription food that she will eat. It has helped her. She does not seem to have had an upset since beginning this regimen. I gave it 4 stars because it is difficult to know how much to feed her. I prefer the single serve cans.

My vet wanted my chihauhau on this food.

After a stomach bug, my vet suggested having my 9 yr. old chihauhau eat this once a day. It did seem to help his digestion, altho in order for him to eat it I have to talk to him in the vets high very girly voice telling him she wants him to feel better!!!!

Dog eats readily

Vet prescribed this food after a hospital stay. It's easier than bland diet though also more expensive - but my dog likes it and that is a big plus. He only needed to be on it for a month and could then go back to regular food.

Helped with loose stools

At around 5 months, my Golden Retriever puppy was having really soft, mushy stool - usually later in the day. I thought it was from the variety of training treats, but after testing for parasites and finding none, my vet recommended him to be on this food for a while. I have both the dry and the cans of this EN formula and I would say that switching my pup to this was the best thing ever! It immediately firmed everything up and his stools have been great for the past month and a half that he's been on this. I find the cans to be more effective because I did try a different canned puppy food and his stools immediately became soft again. With the dry food, I have just been mixing it in with other dry food.
