My little mutt is facing gastrointestinal issues and the vet prescribed this food because lately all she can tolerate is chicken and rice. Slowly trying to phase this food in, she had diarrhea again in 3 days. We tried two times and had the same results both times. Back to the drawing board. This food did not work for us for what it is supposed to do.
My dog started getting explosive diarhea from Diamond Brand dog food after feeding it to her for years. I am guessing her system is changing as she gets older. My vet recommended this and we now have 0 issues! I would def recommend it!
Began feeding RC EN gastrointestinal food. Hesitant initially however slowly adapting to the food. Little by little the poop is returning to normal. I mix well with water.
I have fed my older beagle a high end metabolic Rx food for years. She did well. While on a long RV trip she became sick with GI issues. The wonderful vet that we were able to find suggested we switch her to Purina ProPlan EN for her problems. What a difference it made in 3 days. Avoiding all her issues(antibiotics) an other tests done we really feel this food has been the key. I will continue to feed her this food. I rate it a 10 on a scale of 1-10.
This is the only food that my puppy can tolerate. I have tried several foods and they all caused her to have diarrhea except this one. It is expensive and prescription, but it works.
My pup had pancreatitis and the vet recommended I feed her this kibble to help her feel better. The first bag I bought, she really liked. She would always eat everything I served her. When I ran out and purchased more, I noticed that the smell of the kibble was significantly different and shape was slightly different as well. Now she refuses to eat it. I’ll fill her bowl and she will eat maybe a third of it a day when before she would eat two full bowls daily.
My dog was having all sorts of gastrointestinal issues, even with other prescription dog foods. Purina EN works well for him. He is healthy and happy!
I finally found this food through Chewy it is not easy to get from my vet,
Great choice for low fat food. Our dog has Cushings and this food has really helped. She loves it and also the canned variety
This dog food recommended by our vet. Dog seems better eating this although it's not cheap.
