These were the perfect treat for my 11 year old Boston Terrier that has pancreatitis. It is so hard to find treats that are low enough in fat for her. Why are these not available anymore? Are they discontinued? Any replacement recommendations? Please bring these back!
My dog has pancreatitis & must watch her weight & crude fat levels. These lite dog snacks are great! They’re low in calories, crude fat & my dog loves the crunchy taste. Just wish they’d keep them in stock. They run out frequently.
Bucky likes a variety of treats, soft and chewy, hard and crunchy, bite sized, or long lasting delights. These satisfy his need for a quick crunch. I like that they're low calories, because he's definitely a little snack machine. They're also by Purina Pro Plan, which is the brand I use for his regular food. This means that I can keep his recipes consistent and there won't be any upset puppy tummies to worry about.
I bought these because it is low fat and I need that for my senior dog. The treat is great however it is too hard for my senior to bite into and crunch. She ended up swallowing it whole and threw it up later. My younger dog is able to crunch it, but it takes some effort.
Normally I purchase this from my vet. My dog has thyroid issues and these help keep her from weight gain. My vet was out of stock. I ordered from Chewy. Ordered 3 bags on a recurring order. Arrived in a timely manner. Then I got a email from Chewy saying this product has been discontinued. Thankfully I have 3 bags.
My dog would have diarrhea with other Biscuits but that stopped when she started on the Purina ones. Please bring them back
My senior dog occasionally struggles with some weight gain. Keeping her at a healthy weight is one of my top priorities, so I swapped some of her biscuits for these. She’s very picky, but she loves these biscuits! She easily lost the couple of pounds that she had gained after swapping the treats and increasing her exercise a little bit. My young, active dog eats these, too, and he also loves them.
Dog eats them and seems to like. What more can I ask? Especially since they are Rx snacks. Good size, and I can still break them into smaller pieces.
These are really great. I heard Purina isn't making them anymore. That's sad
Our dog is happy with Lite Snackers, and we feel they are healthier than some of the other snacks that have color and ingredients she doesn't need. We got familiar with them as our Vet sells them in his office.
