The vet suggested this for a dog that we have that has digestion issues. She is also a picky eater (translated, spoiled). She eats this canned food very well and has more pep for a pup her age. The energy level is noticeable. Glad we ordered it.

This was a replacement for Royal Canin as they are having shipping and possibly manufacturing issues. Very disappointed in this brand. Looks like the filler is potatoes, and it is super dry. My dog thankfully likes it, but I hope Royal Canin is back up and running by my next order.

Saved the day!
By Pizzy on Apr 9, 2021
My senior dog has some health issues and can only eat this type of food. I tried the on-line pharmacy we normally use but they were backordered. Thank goodness for Chewy, as they saved the day and reached out to my vet and shipped the food in a timely manner. Thank you again!

Good Value for Veterinary Diet
By Mikeintexas on Apr 5, 2021
Our Labrador seems to like this as well as the more expensive food which we were buying. Previous food became unavailable, so we had to find an alternative. Be sure to follow suggestions for transitioning to another Veterinary diet. It needed to be a gradual transition for Kenzie.

Started New food
By Rudy on Mar 29, 2021
I had to switch from Royal Canin because they stopped production and my vet suggested Purina Pro Plan because they have high levels of liver enzymes. They seem to like the wet. We haven't switched to the dry yet.

Good Stuff for dogs with special diet requirements
By ElliesDad on Mar 26, 2021
Just shifted to this dog food for our diabetic Schnauzer and she really seems to like it with very little adjustment period. She got tired of the Science Diet stew and Royal Canine canned food we have fed her for a long time and we were hoping to find a replacement food that she would eat that was still low fat. So far so good on this.

Highly recommend
By Deseree on Mar 8, 2021
My 9 year old miniature schnauzer is having issues with her liver and gall bladder and has to be on a low fat diet to make it easier on these organs during digestion. She loves this. It is pricy but she will eat it every time it is offered. Sucks that you have to go through the hassle of a prescription for it, and i would Love it if it were cheaper, haha.

Good item for pancreatitis
By Barney on Mar 5, 2021
This low fat dog food is the only prescription food my sick dog would eat and keep down. He is better now and I will keep him on this. The shipper, however, was slow. Chewy shipped this within hours of my order. FedEx took 8 days to get it to me.
