    My cat loves it!

    I like this patte over the last one i just had. The original one i bought is no longer available so i tried the same brand of another canned food i use along side the patte. Not very good. I didnt like it for my cat. he ate it but after some time ate it less and less. I got this one instead in my next I like this patte over the last one i just had.     Worse for ckd cat than some non ckd foods!

    They won’t say actual % phosphorus, only Minimum, and at .12%, that is higher than some none ckd foods (including Purinas other foods). High moisture is really important in ckd cat food, since most cats won’t drink much water, and this is only 77%, lower than many non prescription foods. You certainly cannot syringe feed a sick cat with this dry stuff. My cats like gravy based foods and hate this dry stuff. Since ckd cats desperately need to eat (any wet food is better than nothing) I honestly don’t know why anyone would feed it to their ckd cat. Save your money, check the nutrition, and buy the wettest, lowest Phosphorus cat food chewy has. At least Chewy posts the numbers on their site in a big enough font that you can read them. Kudos to Chewy, a tiny step in overcoming the misinformation that the cat food manufacturers are giving us about their overpriced pseudo prescription food. … more
