We moved and my rescue did not handle the change well. She is a little anxious all the time, but was never this bad. Vet recommended going onto this supplement and We noticed a huge improvement within 2 weeks and now it has been 2 months and this is the least anxious I have ever seen her. So it is worth the investment for us. It completely took care of her symptoms
At first, this only caused my pup to poop in the house a couple times (she never does that) which I was okay with as her system was as probably just getting used to being more regulated. But then, the second night my poor baby began to throw up again and again, dry heaving between, stressed and so sick. Will never give this to her again. Might work for some but not my baby.
We adopted a 6 year old anxious rescue with sound sensitivity and constant diarrhea. Our vet recommended this and we cannot believe the improvement in our dog. It does take at least 6 weeks to start seeing a change but he became less anxious/ stressed and the quality of his bowel movements increased dramatically. ( no more embarrassing messes and carrying a roll of paper towels on our walks!) Not only that but he LOVES the liver flavor. I sprinkle it on his food with a little bit of water and he looks forward to his special treat every morning.
As always, chewy has been a lifesaver. We found the probiotic calming product with chewy when it seemed like no one else had it. Would recommend chewy to everyone. Once again you guys came through. Thank you again.
Didn't notice any difference in stool or anxious behavior when using. Waited until the end of using to rate, so over a month of use and no change. The regular forti flora would have been better to use (in my opinion) since that would have helped with stool, but vet recommended this.
I don't know if this stuff actually works or not. I have a nervous GSD. She's been taking this daily for a few months and I haven't noticed her being an calmer (what really makes her calm is a Thunder Shirt!).
A few months ago I adopted a 4 month old yellow lab from a hoarding situation. My little girl is so sweet, but she’s very whiny and very anxious. She loves to cuddle and get pets from everyone in the house, but when people would come over she would bark a lot and hide from them. I decided something needs to change. Looked into calming care and decided to give it a try. I noticed a change day 2 of giving it to her. After 2 weeks of giving her Calming Care we had a huge family party with over 50 people at our house. My little girl was welcoming to everyone. She let them pet her. People who have met her before were completely shocked by her calm welcoming behavior. I have been recommending this supplement to anyone who will listen. Seriously…Calming Care has been a game changer.
When I rescued my hound at about a year old he was very anxious in the house, with new people, and on car rides. I asked the vet for suggestions and he suggested this and told me no real cons to it, even if it doesn't work its a probiotic and can help his poops so figured it was worth a shot. Been using it for about 2 months now. Between my pup being more comfortable at home, training, and this calming care, he is a totally different dog and so much more relaxed! He is so much happier now and is able to fully enjoy life! Will continue to use since minimal cons to the product.
This product was recommend to us by our vet. Our dog has bad separation anxiety, even if we leave her for 2 hours to go to the grocery store. She gets so worked up that her gut gets messed up and she won't eat for 2 days and she gets runny poo. With Purina Calming Care she still has separation anxiety, but her gut stays healthy and she can eat normally. One problem at a time. Thank you for this product.
The Purina Calming Care is very easy to provide as it comes in individual packets of a small amount of powder that you simply sprinkle on your dog's food each morning or evening. I can see a subtle improvement in my dog's anxiety level. A reduction in barking at everything she sees and a better focus.
