Most commercial pet foods include baseline vitamins and nutrients, but some may not have the adequate amount to suit your pet's exact health needs. Like in humans, vitamins and supplements can help support your pet's long-term health, regulating everything from digestion to muscle growth. Consult your veterinarian to determine the best vitamins and supplements for your furry friend.
It is recommended to give the suggested dosage based off your pet's weight. Please refer to the Feeding Instructions tab and consult with your veterinarian for more information.

My cavapoo was INSANELY HYPER and after about 2 weeks using this supplement in combination with the calming food, she is CALM. She actually lays down in the house now and walks instead of constantly running. She jumps less too. I am very pleased with our results. Helpful hint: I put the powder on top of the food and wet it with some water.
Our rescue came to use with severe anxiety issues and on a lot of meds. He is off all of his meds and can still be a little fearful. It was recommended that we try this product. We sprinkle it on his food every morning. He is like a different dog. We tried to stop using it and he went back to his fearful behavior. For us, this made all of the difference in the world.
My anxious pup has been taking Calming Care soon after her adoption by our veterinarian. She takes this supplement every morning. I messed up and realized I only had 3 packets left. Chewy was able to get a new box shipped to us before I ran out. I will definitely be adding Calming Care to my
I have a nervous and anxious little rescue dog that we adore and it pains us to see him pacing and pacing throughout the day. Our trainer recommended this product and our vet carries this product in the office and encouraged us to give it a try. It took several weeks before we started to notice improvement in his behavior. He no longer paces (unless the usual stressors present - someone at the door, loud unexpected noise, etc). I would definitely recommend that it's worth a try.
Our Golden-Irish dog was diagnosed with chronic pancreatitis years ago. I blame the Irish Setter genes. It generally flares up when he gets nervous, even "good nervous" such as an overnight trip to a place he loves. It took quite awhile to get his stool normal after his initial diagnosis. Besides prescription GI food, our vet recommended this. It helped a lot. Now he's better. We keep him on GI food, maintain a calm household and a steady routine. I bought this to have on hand for any unusual times that come up, even an overnight trip to his favorite lake. I can't remember how long it took to work before but I plan to start it as soon as I anticipate any break in his routine. At least I know it won't hurt him. Based on my past experience with this product, combined with the GI food, I'm hoping it'll get him through a fun trip without diarrhea. Fingers crossed.
Have used for several years. I think it works, hard to tell. Recently reordered and quantity of packets in the box and the amount in each sachet are both reduced by a third. Assuming the previous amount was correct, is it now not enough? Plus the price was greatly increased. Shame on you purina.
I have the 45 count of this product on recurring order, but Chewy chose to see end the 30 count without notifying me. There is a significant difference in price, and price per unit, when getting 30 vs 45. I will be cancelling my recurring order due to this.
Purina Calming Care powder really works for my dog. I saw a difference in about a week and it continues to help him relax and not pant as often. I make sure he gets it on his food everyday and he eats it readily and can be fussy about what he likes so I was happy to see him enjoy the powder. I can never give him any kind of soft chewy supplement because he will not eat it. I will continue to give the Calming Care powder as long as I am showing him and I can afford it. It is important your dog gets it every single day. Do not skip days.
My 5 year old rescue labrador retriever has long been diagnosed with anxiety. We have been seeing a vet behaviorist who put her on sertraline and gabapentin which have been a tremendous help for her. I decided to try Calming Care and we are getting close to the end of our first box. I noticed that my dog has been more obedient and following commands, and playing more with her friends at doggy daycare. She seems to sleep more but she’s not like a groggy zombie. When it’s time for a walk or a car ride, she is alert and ready! I am about to purchase another box because I like how it’s been working for my sweet girl. :)
My 8 year old is definitely a bit calmer with this product. It's not a miracle cure, but I definitely notice a difference if I run out for a few days. I was disappointed that the box was a bit smashed as a result of being packed with my dog food.
