Beware with chicken allergies
The "liver flavor" in these probiotics is sourced from chicken. I had to do a bit further investigating after my dog had a colitis flare up after starting these when his other probiotic was out of stock for awhile. He is allergic to chicken and these caused diarrhea. For being a product mainly used for dogs with sensitive stomachs, I wish Purina would be a bit more thorough in their list of ingredients.
FortiFlex Purina Pro Plan Tablets
My Doberman started a more rapid recovery on this Probiotic from diarrhea. Mt vet sold me the small packets, which did nothing for him. Hes 86 lbs. He gets 2 pills in the AM and 2 pills at dinner. it is making a difference in his really difficult case. He was a street dog.
Expires too soon
I love this product. It really helps my dog but Chewy sent me a 90 day container that expires in 100 days. I unfortunately already had a container opened so this will expire before they get used. Just wish I had received a product with a better date.
Unimpressed
After trying several different foods to unsuccessfully remedy our dog's chronic diarrhea, bought a bottle with the hope that a probiotic supplement would be the missing element. He takes it no problem but after about a month of use I see no noticeable improvement.
Something is wrong
Rex has been using Purina Fortiflora for the past 2 years. This was the first time we ordered them from Chewy. 2 days in a row he has refused them. I am not sure if they became bad in transient- maybe not as fresh, or was in the heat too long waiting for delivery. Something to consider I suppose when ordering products in the dead of summer. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be using this bottle of pills.
Just what my pup needed!
This has regulated my pupper so well! And his poop is more formed and easier to pick up. He loves his after walkies treat and will always do a trick to get one. The chews are so much better than the powder as I have a slow feeder so therefore I was never sure if he actually got all the powder or not.
Highly Recommend
Our German Shepherd Dog has a sensitive stomach so we give her FortiFlora with any medications to avoid diarrhea. Recently, we were out (and so were the local stores) when she ate something that did not agree with her (we think it was the cat's food) and our girl ended up in the doggie ER for dehydration. Our girl's trainer first introduced us to FortiFlora and we will not be without it again.

Our vet instructed us that FortiFlora was the best choice for probiotics being specifically developed for a dog's needs. The chewable tablets are the perfect answer for our senior dog. He LOVES the way they taste because he gets excited when I let him smell the bottle beforehand. I think he thinks it's a special cookie because he looks around to see if I am going to give him another. His stool has also improved.
It works for me
I’ve tried so many probiotic products to firm up my three male Labradors poop but nothing worked until I used FortiFlora. My one lab would start to poop firm but it turn very soft or he would poop 3-4 times in a row mushy but within about 4 days of taking this product he’s firm and regular. My other two pups have sensitive stomachs and probiotics gave them diarrhea instead of firming them up, not the issue with FortiFlora. Pills are easy to give just throw one their food bowl in the morning and your good to go. Finally something that works.
Solid poo
I really believe this product is helping my 15 year old dog with liver cancer. He’s having a lot less loose stool and that makes everyone happy.
