Tastes good
I am almost 11 months old. I have had an issue with my, ummm, poop not being very solid. My human spent a lot of money at the vet having things checked out (so rude!). I got lots of medicine that I didn't really like. But the best was the stuff that they put in my food to help with my "digestive issues." After the prescription stuff was all gone, they decided to buy this and see if it helped some more. I really like it, so I eat my food all gone. My bathroom issues have gotten better too! Good for constipation
My 16 year old cat has early kidney disease and is on a prescription diet. Even with his wet food, which helps him get enough moisture to prevent dehydration, he still gets constipated and struggles at the litter box. He's been taking this supplement every day for the past two months and no longer appears to have that problem, keeping his little guts flowing regularly and with less pain. It has been such an improvement for my little old man.
Used this for my 17+ cat
My cat has always had issues with constipation. She had been diagnosed with kidney disease and a UTI. We switched her diet and I was concerned about how that would be with her constipation issue plus she did not take the antibiotic well and had lots of diarrhea and vomiting. I used this per the vet to help her with that and I haven’t taken her off because I think she’s doing a lot better on them and her appetite has even come back so she’s back to eating the right amount of food and she still has constipation issues but it has gotten noticeably better.
This stuff worked miracles!
My vet prescribed this when my cat had diarrhea and after a couple days he was good. He loves the flavor and I was able to sprinkle it on his hard food so it is super easy to give. He now expects it on his food each morning. I am going to continue using it as a daily supplement. Im so happy Chewy sells it without a prescription and for less than half the price of my vet :)
Felix demands it daily!
Felix is my fancy designer boy who won’t eat unless there is a dusting of Fortiflora on every meal. So one packet lasts for about 12 meals, taking him through 6 days. Like I said, just a dusting makes him happy (and cooperative..). Oscar, his brother from another mother, does not have the fancy gene and eats whatever is on the plate. But when he (rarely) gets sick, Fortiflora in the suggested dosage, takes care of it within a day. fancy and eats everything the moment it hits the plate.
Easy to Use!
This had been recommended to me a while ago but I made the mistake of using another brand instead. But I finally tried this one and it's so much better! It's easier to open and put into my cat's food. It comes in little packets where the other brand had little capsules that were often hard to open. The price is comparable to the other brand.
It's Cat Candy...
...or at least you'd think so. My cats love this probiotic so much that I have to store it in a cabinet or hard plastic. (I learned this the hard way when they managed to get to it--Fortiflora dusted all over the kitchen floor!) This makes it a real plus in that they like it enough that they will lick it off hard food as well as soft.
Miracle for feline gut health!
My 14 year old senior cat had been throwing up for a while without any reason why. Blood and stool sample showed no illness. Finally the vet recommended this in her food daily. It has made all the difference! Besides hairballs, she doesn't throw up her food anymore. She's like a new cat with renewed energy. I couldn't be happier and I'll continue to use.
Works Well for Bob
My cat was born Bob tailed. As a young cat he had soft bloody stools that got on him and much of what he sat on. Sensitive stomach kibble helped. Neither of my cats like soft foods. As a 3 year old still eating sensitive stomach the problem returned. Tests didn't reveal any parasites. I was unsuccessful at getting meds into his system each day, but the little bit I could get down him and 2 packets on the two cats joint kibble each day relieve stomach problems. It took a while but I'm so relieved not to be washing the entire households furniture covers daily.
good but unsure if needed
I purchased a box of these when the Shelter where I adopted Buddy my 5 mo old kitten, gave me 1 packet of this. Apparently, they give it to their kittens. He has no problems so unsure if needed. His first vet visit is May 17th will ask about this. It is pricy for 30 packets as also giving him Pro Plan Purina Calming supplements. Think that is more needed. Waiting on vet visit to see if to order more.
