Most commercial pet foods include baseline vitamins and nutrients, but some may not have the adequate amount to suit your pet's exact health needs. Like in humans, vitamins and supplements can help support your pet's long-term health, regulating everything from digestion to muscle growth. Consult your veterinarian to determine the best vitamins and supplements for your furry friend.
It is recommended to give the suggested dosage based off your pet's weight. Please refer to the Feeding Instructions tab and consult with your veterinarian for more information.

I've recently adopted a cat and have been trying to get them on a wet diet for awhile now, the most they'd do is pick at it and maybe slurp up the gravy part then leave the rest. I finally read somewhere that this would be a nice, healthy addition that would get them interested. And it worked! Only had it for a few days but I can tell an immediate difference. My cat may not finish off the wet food 100% but they certainly eat way more with Fortiflora added. 10/10 would recommend this highly
I found my cat 17 years ago before his eyes had even opened and I nursed him and taught him everything he knew. All his.life, he had chronic loose poos- he didn't get his antibodies and gut bacteria from his mama cat. After many vets and many medications, this turned out to be the only ring that worked. I don't hear his stomach digesting, his poor are poo shaped, and he has gained weight. I just wish I had found it 17 years ago as he will be q8 this summer.
My vet prescribed for my cat's sensitive stomach. It's in powder form so I shake a little into my cats food and he eats it. He keeps his food down. It's a probiotic and works the same way probiotics work for people. One of my dogs gets FortiFlora for a sensitive stomach too. She completes her meal and is ready to go. Both pets receive the nutrients from their food. I give my pets healthy brands of pet food and the probiotic helps their stomach digest their food. My pets feel good and I don't have to clean the floor after they eat.
My daughter recently adopted two littermate kittens (now about 3 months old) through a local shelter, not knowing how sickly they were - bloody diarrhea, anemic, ear mites, snotty sneezes. I bought her these probiotic supplements and, along with good food and lots of TLC, after a couple weeks, Baby and Chloe are finally doing better. This is a good supplement that has really helped, and hopefully will mean a good chance at a long life for our sickies. Stools are firmer with no blood, kittens are livlier and more interested in play and food.
This probiotic was recommended by my veterinarian a few years ago when my 15 year old cat became very sick and ultimately was diagnosed with IBD. He’s been eating this sprinkled on his dry food in combination with a great wet food. His IBD, and digestive issues have almost completely disappeared. Actually his overall health, at age 15, is better now then it’s been even in past years! Also, he actually looks forward to eating this! It’s like a treat to him and even when he gets sick and won’t eat, I sprinkle this on his food and this on his food and he eats it every time! I’m so happy this product exists because it’s magic! It’s definitely pricey but it’s worth it. Great investment for kitty’s health! Happy kitties and happy bellies!
My 14 yr old kitty has Diabetes and IBS. His poop smell would burn your nose hairs and it was impossible to deal with. You could smell his poop 3 or 4 rooms down. Even he was frustrated that he used to cry and bang on the door to get my attention as soon as he pooped as he could not handle the smell. Given he has diabetes we cannot add supplements willy nilly but this Probiotic is good for him. It has not caused any adverse effects and his IBS has been under control finally! His poop smell has reduced significantly ( 90% improved) and he is not as gassy as he used to be before. So, totally a fabulous add to his routine feeding. Finally, my nose hairs are saved lol!
My vet recommended I add this to my fur baby's food. He is a long haired main coon and vomits often. I only give him 1/2 of a small can wet food each morning and he usually just licks the gravy. I added the powder supplement to the food and he loves the flavor. He now eats the entire bowl, and his vomiting has stopped.
My cat goes crazy for this. I used to keep the fortiflora box on the kitchen counter but noticed that the packets were mysteriously disappearing. Then I discovered white paper in my little gremblin princesss poop. One day I caught her red handed sprinting off with a packet and trying to eat it, packaging and all. Now I keep the fortiflora in my cabinet but my gremblin princess still counter surfs everyday looking for it.
We have two cats that need to take meds as well as special food. Nope they may eat a little then turn their nose up and walk away. Def didn’t like the medicine or the taste of healthy expensive food. A little bit of this product with water and boom, food and meds gone! They really like the flavor. Bet gave the product initially and I will continue with it! Thank you Rhinebeck Animal Hospital and thank you Purina pro plan
I love my auto delivery; it's never been delayed or late. Love that I can be assured that my cats will never miss their food or their medication! This probiotic, recommended by their vet, seems to help with their stomach issues.
