  • Great supplement for bowel issues!

    By on

My dog has had a lot of bowel issues recently and feeding her the best product was very important to me. I wanted to give my dog only the best to make sure her health was improving. FortiFlora was recommended to me by the vet to try and afterwards the taste is something my dog likes. It's not bland or anything it's good enough that the dog will eat it if you just sprinkle it into their food. I highly recommend this product if you dog is experiencing bowel issues such as diarrhea, etc. It's overall a great product and clears up the issues pretty quickly!

  • Our vet suggested we ise this.

    By on

Or veterinarian suggested we use this on our Welsh Springer Spaniel who has kidney cancer signs, and has since her adoption as a puppy. I cannot say that I see a difference one way or the other, nor do I know what difference I would see. I believe my vet is just trying to get the best nutrition out of the food. So I will continue to use it at her request and assume it is doing what it should be doing. Sorry that I cannot say any better than that. I do not like to give negative reviews and I hope this is not one... But I cannot see anything positive about it as I'm not sure what it is doing.

  • Bowel Flora = No Gelatinous Diarrhea

    By on

I bought this at the suggestion of a friend whose vet told her to get it for her dog with the runs. Lo and behold, it helps my dog too. Of course this product will not replace anti-helminth meds (for parasite elimination you'll still need deworming products like Panacur,) but for my 1 yr old Lab with the delicate bowel-flora-balance, this is an invaluable tool in our search for an optimal quality of life (meaning I never want to come home to dog diarrhea again, if possible.) Not cheap, but worth it.

  • Chewy loves this powder stuff!

I sprinkle this over his prescription dry, wet, joint pill combo and he licks the bowl up. I really do see a change in his bowel movements. He goes about 2 or 3 times a day (a change from struggling for just 1) and he seems so happy to not only eat it, but happy when its "go time". It's a little pricey, but it's well worth it in my opinion because I can see how happy and healthy my 12 year old Shih Tzu is.

  • Great for Older Dogs

    By on

I have an older dog that has had intestinal issues in the past and resulted in either runny stools or constipation. Sometime back the vet had me try this for her issues, and it was the answer to her issues. After finding out about it, I discovered it was not a prescription item and have been giving it to her on a regular basis, every 2-3 days. She has a normal system now and it stays that way. Great product and I would recommend it to anyone who has an animal and wants to keep their system healthy and happy!

  • Saved Us More Than Once!

    By on

Years ago this stuff helped my cat who had bloody stool. Tried everything...tests, colonoscopy, steroids. Nothing. You name it we did it. NOTHING we did worked, although nothing bad was found. Gave him this stuff and viola! Problem Solved. My dog Autum (who has a HOST of medical issues) had diarrhea and they put her on something different. Supposed to contain 4 types of probiotics rather than just the one in the Forti Flora. She (the vet) was reluctant to make the switch but, I did it any way and so far have had no problems. =-) Sometimes "new and Improved" is not as good as "tried and true". Would definitely reccomed this for pets with digestestive upset ESPECIALL diarrhea.

  • Helped my dog when nothing else would!!!

    By on

I have a German Shepherd mix and she recently ate a dead rabbit from under a tree on one of our walks together. A few days prior to that she had extremely bad diarrhea. It was so bad and frequent that my fiancee and I had to take her out every hour just so she could poop. We tried the chicken and rice diet, fasting, but nothing seemed to work. We finally took her to the vet and they recommended this product, which has saved us. We noticed and immediate change in her stool. It was no longer completely liquid and she returned to a normal potty schedule. We're very thankful for this stuff!! Works great!

  • Awesome Stuff/Vet Recommend!

    By on

We started our Shih-Tzu on this per our vet's recommendation (vet gave us this exact brand), she has a nervous stomach. Within 2 days, stomach issues were back to normal, no issues since. Vet recommended keeping her on this daily, we put 1 packet in her breakfast and she gobbles it right down. Shopped around, Chewy had best pricing & super fast shipping. Great product!

  • Helped tremendously!!!

    By on

My 9 month old puppy was struggling with a sensitive stomach for months. If she ate something outside or something that didn't sit well with her, she would instantly have diarrhea. It would get so bad at times that she couldn't hold her bowel movements for more than 2 hours. I went to the vet and they recommended this. I get her s packet every other day and she has had the best bowel movements she's ever had!! Highly recommend if you have a pup who just has that sensitive stomach.

  • Healthy Miracle Product

    By on

My 8.5 lb Maltipoo is 4 yrs old and until a few months ago never had any digestive problems. He never had loose stools. About 2 months ago he started having very loose stools(no diet change) and nothing I did helped, boiled chicken & rice or Rx Diet food. Fecal sample clear. Within 24 hours after giving (Vetinarian recommended) his first packet of FortiFlora his problem cleared up. FortiFlora will be a life long addition to my dog's daily diet regimen.
