  • Great for active dogs

I came back to the stuff that works after trying numerous foods, suppliments, and even bloodwork and deworming for a year old dog thst has always been difficult to keep weight on. At one point he looked like I hadn't fed him in days. Spine was visible, ribs and hips protruding, face was a bit sunken. I was shoveling 8 cups of food a day in this dog and it wasn't doing any good. He was too thin. I was embarrassed to take him out in public to train. After two months on FortiFlor, Oliver has a thicker, glossy, clean (not greasy) coat. His skeleton is no longer visible and he has a fat pad over his hips and spine. He looks, feels, and acts healthy. • Picky eater pup

I have a Goldendoodle that had parasites when I brought him home from a breeder that took two months to get rid of them. The vets can't say for sure but this probably impacted his digestive systems. He is super sensitive to any foods with wheat (literally cannot have them) but he is also a very picky eater. He is on a high quality protein diet (Orijen) and he still picks at his food (even if he has had a ton of exercise). I've found that the Fortiflora helps keep him consistently eating and helps with his tummy problems!

  • Good product, helps with diarrhea

    By on

Prescribed by our vet when our puppy was going through a food transition and experiencing diarrhea. We were given just a week's worth by the vet, but by the end of the week his stool was firming up. After we ran out, his stool softened significantly again. I'm sure this probiotic was helping! However, upon doing more research we've decided to continue him on probiotics from another brand that is less expensive and contains more than just one strain of probiotic in it (this other brand contains 4).

  • not normally a fan but!

I prefer to avoid Nestlé products but even I have to admit this is pretty good stuff! 17 year old dog recently diagnosed with HGE, and possibly IBD, and or gastric lymphoma... And along with meds, prescribed this! It absolutely helped. He was back to solid BM's within 2 days and he has no problem wolfing this down. I will be purchasing this again! Previously had a vet discount but chewy has a great price too as usual!!! Probably getting it from here in future =)

  • Good For Senior Yorkie With Sensitive Tummy

I have a 12 year old yorkie (Fritz, 8lbs) I rescued last year. He had a case of acute pancreatitis and the vet gave me some samples of this FortiFlora along with some prescription food to start getting him back on a regular diet. After putting him back on regular food he had a terrible bout of diarrhea in which he woke me up like clockwork literally every two hours to go desecrate the back yard. (I'll spare the details of the times he did NOT make it to the back yard.) We did treat him with Flagyl after seeing the vet, but I decided to add the FortiFlora to his regular diet after that incident. We have not had an incident like that since adding this to his diet. • great supplelment

    By on

So the vet had us give this to my middle dog several months back due to a stomach ailment - not sure what caused it - but I noticed the dogs had a lot less gas! So I asked if I could give to them every day and I do -- the newest dog is on antibiotic due to lymes and I am giving it to her to help with that. Great stuff!

  • Helps with constipation, too.

My 50 lb black lab mix has taken a stool softener daily for almost 7 years. Started this a couple weeks ago and haven't given her one since. I have tried different foods, supplements, etc., and none have worked. Hoping this keeps working and I can keep her off the medication! My other black lab mix (75 lbs.) seems to be doing better on this, as well. Although, she still needs her acid reflux medicine once daily - but less tummy rumbling and gas. Neither have ever had issues with diarrhea, but I tried this since they have always seemed to have digestive issues. They eat kibble and canned for sensitive stomachs.

  • Dog flatulence

    By on

Well, the jury's still out on this one. Been giving our 11 yr old American bulldog this for about 2 weeks now. She suffers from horrible gas due to a prescription dog food she must be on for joint care. The gas is A LITTLE BIT BETTER, but no miracle like we were hoping for based on the chewy reviews. Not ready to quit yet...stay tuned

  • Once I began using this my puppy started eating.

    By on

My puppy had digestion problems and diarrhea when we first got her. Once we started using forti flora she started to eat on her own and she no longer had diarrhea. I love that it is a natural product and safe and healthy to include in her daily feedings. I just sprinkle it on top of her food and she gobbles it down.

  • My dog turns away from it.

    By on

I was recommended adding this to my dogs food by vet and another dog expert. I can't figure out if it's him or the food I'm sprinkling it on. But he gets excited to eat, walks up to bowl, smells it and walks away. I'm really trying to help his tummy and make him feel better, but I guess this was not the answer for him.
