made a big difference!
I have 2 female cats. Violet is a rescue who had a very abusive background. This included food deprivation and physical abuse as a kitten. So she had a very rough start in life. Sally also a rescue but no abuse. Violet has come a long way but was an over groomer who had removed all the fur from her belly and patches on her back legs. She was very anxious. My Veterinarian recommended trying this before resorting to prescription medication for her. Both cats also barely tolerated each other also. Lots of fights were happening. Anyway I had already started using the Feliway system and started giving them this probiotic in their food. It did take about the six weeks and I started noticing they were not fighting as much and would actually curl up next to each other. After about the second month all of Violet’s fur had grown back! No more over grooming! This works for them. Try it!
This helped
My kitty has gotten into an odd habit of crying every night. I couldn’t figure out how to stop it, I wanted him to not feel upset and for me to stop losing so much sleep. I tried a few different things, and this has been the most effective. I give it to him with a little treat right before bed and 9 times out of 10 he doesn’t make a peep and has even gone back to sleeping in bed with me. I think out of the 15 times I’ve given it, two nights he still cried—as opposed to before, when he did it every single night without fail. Still trying to figure out what he needs to curb the cause of the behavior entirely, but this has been very helpful
Marked improvement when combined…
Our vet started us on Gabapentin (the EXACT medicine I’m on) and after multiple readings in my research, I added Calm Care to JoJo’s Delectables Bisques daily. It actually didn’t take every long to improve his mood - combined with the Gabapentin- and calm him down to where he can really sleep. He originally came to me with trembling back legs and what appeared to be restless leg syndrome. He’d start falling asleep to suddenly startle awake…EVERY TIME he’d try resting. Poor lil fellow began exhibiting extreme anxiety (who wouldn’t), pacing and waking me up every time I put MY head down. Now on the Gabapentin AND the Calm Care (and 5 mgs. Melatonin at bedtime), he sleeps normal and deep, no startling awake. The restless legs has stopped, pacing stopped, and he’s more affectionate and playful, wanting to be closer physically to me more often. He still wakes me up but not as much as before. I’ve noticed he does that shortly before sun up and just seems to want my company to watch the sunrise with him. So when I’m not hurting too much, I’ll get up with him to share it. Adding the Calm Care for us was a good idea. Every animal will react differently, though.
Cool cat calm kitty
I have a cat with loose stoles. The vet recommended the pro plan for loose stoles. It helped a great deal. This cat is also high strung. Licks a lot. Easily frightened. Hence, when I saw pro plan sold a calming care product I tried it. It seems to have worked. Less licking and more naps. So I decreased it to a packet ever other day. Seems to be just right.
great for cats with anxiety
My cat had been suffering from bouts of licking her fur off specific spots until it was raw and bloody. Vet said it can either be allergies or she is just very anxious, so she recommended we try this product to see if it is anxiety. It takes about 6 weeks to go into effect. I've had her on it for months now, it's a powder that you sprinkle over their food and she loves the taste. If I'm not feeding her wet food, then I put it on her dry kibble and pour some water onto the bowl so it's not super dry for her. It has helped her a lot! She is still a bit jumpy but her compulsive licking is completely gone so I am very happy!! Especially because its probiotics so its helping her gut as well. We unfortunately got a bad batch of food once and she didn't have any diarrhea because she was taking this product (unfortunately the other cat did get diarrhea and so I started him on another version of this brand's probiotics and now he's doing great as well). This has helped our cats in more ways than one, so although it can be pricey to get every month it is so worth it.
This REALLY works.
Some time back, I experienced a very sudden, traumatic change in my living situation, which meant that my two lovingly spoiled cats, Winston and Salem, did, too. I sent the boys to with a relative for 5 months. The stress caused by the sudden change location, not living with me, and the shift in their everyday routines just wasn’t good for them. They came back anxious, overweight, and in a constant state of stress. Salem’s stress response was particularly bad, so bad in fact that he’d developed crystals over the time he was away, which led to a urinary blockage for which he had to have surgery. He also began over-grooming, and had bald patches on his front legs. Feliway didn’t work. Nothing worked, really. So, out of sheer desperation, I ordered the Calming Care. I kid you, not, after just a week of putting this into his food each day, Salem has become a different cat. The hair on his legs is even growing back! Every cat is different, of course, but this has done wonders for mine. I more than highly recommend this.

I adopted my cat from street, he wants to goes out always, but he was diagnosed FIV and he can’t go out no more, he was very intense! He started attacking me! I tried all things (sprays, Feliway) I bought this with my last hope and really works and he loooveeee it!! I recommend 100%
Pro Plan Calming Care Probiotic
I was hopeful for this product to work for my cat while she was on an antibiotic (and also needed the stress relief) but I added it to her food (a small portion of the packet) and she wouldn't eat the food with the probiotic added. I tried several times with no luck
THIS DID THE TRICK
Moving was difficult and hard for my cats to adjust (6y/o, male and female tabbys). Before this, I had pheromone diffusers and collars and at night I would give them hemp oil, but it still seemed like they were both still skittish around the house. A vet recommended this to me and gosh it has worked wonders. The first few days using the supplement they were REALLLLLY mellowed out, but after a week of adding it to their dry food they actually enjoy and look forward to it. In fact, they go just as crazy for it even if I have the powder in my palm
Really works!
We have two cats who are terrified of our dogs. This really helps calm them so that they come out more to see us. Also helped them to stop over grooming so their hair would grow back! Grateful our vet recommended it to us.
