Feeding Instructions
Feed 1 can per 3 - 4 lbs of body weight daily. Divide into 2 or more feedings. Adjust as needed to maintain ideal body condition and avoid excess weight gain. When feeding with dry product: 1 can replaces approximately 1/2 cup of our dry Puppy Chow Formulas.
Transition Instructions
When switching to Purina Puppy Chow from another food, please allow 7 - 10 days for the transition. Gradually add more Purina Puppy Chow and less of the previous food to your pet's dish each day until the changeover is complete. This gradual transition will help avoid dietary upsets.

Loved the food
We loved all the food we ordered. The potty pads bots so much. We will go back to the ones we have used since the beginning of having our puppy with the heart condition and the foster puppies we bring in. The potty pads actually leaked straight through, even with the plastic coating. But no worries we will just go back to the original ones we bought at the store.
Disappointed
This wet puppy food gave my new pup terrible diarrhea! I wasn't sure if it was the food, so I stopped it for a couple of days and the diarrhea stopped. When restarted, he was sick again. This is clearly too rich for his tummy!
Puppy adjusted well
This food is reasonably priced and our puppy adjusted well. He likes it. I also bought the dry puppy chow and he does well with both.
Too strong for sensitive puppies
This might be too strong for my puppy I only used half a can with dry food and she got diarrhea
MADE DOGS SICK
We tried hard to make these work since our puppies loved them, but had to stop. Severe diarrhea and maggots in unwashed cans. Lots and lots of maggots. Nothing like giving puppies a bath at 4 am because they couldn't hold their bowels. This stuff is garbage.
Great enhancer
My dog has always liked about a half of can of this Healthy Start Nutrition mixed with his dry food. Makes him rub his tummy :) Better looking than other canned food.
Found it elsewhere
Local store had this at half the cost compared against this website. I checked to see if the price came down to match or come close to the local stores, and not it has not, it has increased
Convenient size
I supplement the dry Purina One puppy food with this canned food. My puppy loves it!
Puppy chow
I'm not sure exactly why but my dog would not eat she looked and walked away. I would not buy again.
