Surprisingly my dogs are eating this. The one who has kidney problems has improved his blood count. Wish it was cheaper or can get a discount after so many bags purchased. .since it works so well I will try to continue this as long as possible. My complaint is that FedEx delivered to wrong address. Thankfully the person delivered it to me... Hope it doesn't happen again.

We have a Dutch Shepherd that was diagnosed with kidney disease. Our vet recommended he start a kidney diet. She recommended another brand but I was looking for a brand that had a bag of food larger than 18 pounds. Pro Plan fit our needs with their 34 pound bag and Toby has done well on this diet. His kidney functions have improved and we will stay with this brand.

The Veterinarian ordered this food for a pet having kidney function problems. The pet loves the food and it has seemed to stabilize the problem she is experiencing right now. She has more life since we started this diet and she is acting more like herself. I would recommend the Purina Pro Plan Veterinary diet to others having similar problems.

My 16 year old standard poodle loves his new KF food and ignores everything else I give him. But he developed a touch of senior colitis, and I have had to put him on a bland diet for a few days. My vet gave me the ok to put him back on the KF food after that. He keeps sniffing at the bag of KF food hoping I will give him some. Soon.

My little Shiba Inu is about 10 and a few months back had some bad results from her bloodwork regarding her kidneys. Since a diet of this dry Purina NF and the wet food, her bloodwork has come back with some major improvement in her kidney function! I’m a happy dog mom, and she’s gonna stay healthier for longer.

Ordering was easy and my dog loves the food , but I did not see that it came in smaller bags . I got the 34 pounds and I have a small dog it will take me awhile to use it up , but I now see the smaller bags so on reorder I will get that .

I was worried that once I bought a full bag of new food for my girl, that she would immediately reject it. Boy, was I wrong, She loves it. In fact, I have to shoo my cat away from it. I must be REALLY good!

My dog loves this kibble. I am going very slowly, adding small amounts to her home cooked meals in the hopes that she will be able to process this. Really appreciating the speedy service from Chewy.

I am happy with the company and have always like the Pro Plan line but the NF kidney function dog food does not seem to set well with my dog. Unfortunately, the price for this type of food is ridiculous no matter where you get it from which is sad when you're already trying to deal with an animal with health issues that are beyond your control. There don't seem to be many options out there for this type of food.

Our vet put our 8 year old pitbull on this along with the accompanying wet food and after a month, his levels dropped hundreds of points and was almost to the high range of normal function. I bet next month his levels will be perfect! The dry food is not what he really like so i have to mix a good amount of the wet food with it and he eats it up. Please put your dog on this if your vet recommends it.
