Fan of Purpose Pet Food Products
Started using them when my dog was one; she is now four. She's still wild about them! They remain her absolute favorite treats when she is rewarded for being a "Good Girl". And they are very healthy. Highly recommend!
Disappointed in a recent change
I have been buying these treats for the past few months for my cat, who has needed to go on a restricted rabbit protein diet for protein intolerance. Of the 5-6 brands of rabbit treat we had tried, the Purpose rabbit treats were by far and away his favorite ones, and so I was willing to pay a rather high price for a small amount of product. With the most recent shipment of this product, however, the treats themselves seem to have changed. They now resemble all of the other rabbit treats on the market, in an oblong rectangular form (whereas previously they were more irregular, lighter bits of rabbit that seemed, for lack of a better term, like freeform crumbles). He doesn't seem as interested in the treats as before, and now they don't seem all that different from other rabbit treats on the market. I'm disappointed in this change, and I hope that Purpose switches back to its previous form of processing.
Was SUCH a great product, but now has completely changed.
I was super surprised to see this product has completely changed. It used to be little soft pillows of freeze dried rabbit - easy to break into pieces for senior animals or those with dental issues. Now, these are hard as a rock, I can't even break one with my hands! Totally different color, texture. My 14-year old guy could never eat these now. Purpose, if you're listening : PLEASE bring back your old product! I purchased it for a couple of years and loved it, but this new change is so bad.
Fantastic Product
Both my cat and Dog loved these treats. They are both on a pretty restricted diet and it can be extremely challenging to find treats that don't cause any issues for them. This is a fantastic product that I would highly recommend to any pet parents that are selective with ingredients that they give their pets. I have been a huge fan of this brand since they came onto the market!
PWD with allergies loves these!
My 12.5 year old dog with allergies can't have treats with a bunch of junk in them. Despite being older, he goes absolutely NUTS for these! When I call out "rabbit treat!" he barrels down the stairs like he's 12.5 months not 12.5 years. These treats make me feel like we have many, many more years with our beloved dog. He loves them! Can't wait to purchase more once we finish these.
A favorite treat!
We had never tried Rabbit treats before but saw these from Purpose and wanted to give them a go because everything else from the company have been amazing. And we were not disappointment. My dog loves them and they have quickly become the favorite treat. We will be buying them again!
Recipe change is disappointing
These were the best limited protein treats for my cat until Purpose changed the recipe. Previously they were soft and easy to tear into bits, but now they're hard like a rock and even the smell is different--as if they're rotten. It's very disappointing because there aren't many limited protein treats out there, which is important for pets with protein allergies.
My dogs love these things!!!
These are fantastic little treats. My dogs cant get enough of them. An excellent product and highly recommended choice for high value training treats.
Cat Loves It!
My cat's a finicky eater and she can't get enough of this stuff! I like to either mix it in with her dry food or just give her a bit for a treat.
Yummy snack
My dog devoured these - loved them!!! But the bag is only half full so I thought it was pricey for what you get...
