I bought this from QALO directly for our puppy when we got him mid June of this year. It broke off of his collar a couple of weeks ago, so while I was shopping for a new tag on Chewy I figured I'd be sure to pile on another poor rating for this tag. While it was easy to connect to the tile app on our phone, it's completely useless if it can't reliably stay on your dog. This tag didn't last ***4 months***. And even if it had, one thing I wasn't aware of when we bought it is that it has a two year lifespan on its batteries ***which aren't replaceable!!*** On top of that, I always felt like this was kind of a gargantuan tag, even now that our pup is about 45lbs, and others commented on how big the tag is too. I figured it would be worth it for a quality product, but of course I soon realized it's not really good quality. I recommend getting any other tag unless the trade-off for the GPS tracking is worth replacing this thing a couple of times a year for the rest of your dog's life.
Not satisfied for a name tag that cost this much- ours broke within 5 months . And there no way of fixing it
Had it two months & its not working & the rubber is peeling off of it. Sad that I paid $39.99 for a useless device. Wouldn't recommend!
This tag is great. There are a few things we didn’t expect about it, though. It is quite large. Our dog is pretty big so that’s OK, it’s not disproportionate. It’s also not silent despite that it’s silicone. It’s also got some plastic in the middle, so that makes a noise on our dog’s collar when he walks/lays down/shakes. This tag DOES track the dog; it also sings! So you’ll be able to find the dog. It can get wet, ours did and was fine; though I wouldn’t straight up submerge the dog in water for a time.
I liked this product at first until my dog went in the river. The tile stopped working and unable to locate the tag. I tried drying it off but still didn’t work.
