How often should it be washed?

Optimally, cleaning water and food bowls every day is the best option and if you're feeding wet food, you should clean the bowls every day. If you are giving your pets dry food, a warm water rinse every day is ideal. Clean the bowls with soap and water at least every few days.
Can this product hurt the dogs teeth as they hit the metal prongs sticking up as the dog reaches in between them to get the dry food?

This product is intended to slow your dog down and in turn, will not cause harm.
Is it possible to buy replacement rubber for the base? Mine is in perfect shape but the rubber has worn out and torn.

Great for dogs who eat to quickly
I have to large breed dogs that both gobble their food like they haven't eaten in days. This bowl has slowed them down considerably. My only complaint is that it isn't as heavy-duty stainless steel as bowls I have purchased before, but they still do the job they are supposed to do.
Not what I exoected
Maybe I didn’t read the description thoroughly. I didn’t know the knobs twisted off and you were supposed to take all of them off prior to cleaning. Just not what I expected.
Feeder Bowl
I received this bowl on Aug 8th, today is Aug 22nd. The stanchions are already rusting even with proper use. I purchased this more expensive bowl for my puppy and now, in going to have to buy another one. Big waste of money.
