Feeding Amounts: A recommended feeding schedule for an adult cat is to offer half the daily amount for breakfast and another half for dinner. Start weaning kittens on Rachael Ray Nutrish Inner Health as soon as they begin to chew solid food. Allow them to eat as much as they want until fully weaned (6-8 weeks of age). Feed growing kittens 2-3 times the amount recommended for the expected adult weight, in 3 meals per day until 6 months of age, then twice daily until 12 months. Pregnant or lactating females should have food available throughout the day, so split their total daily amount into several meals. Feed pregnant females 1.5 times the amount shown for their non-pregnant weight. Feed lactating females up to three times the amount shown for their non-pregnant weight.
Transition instructions: It may take up to 10 days for your cat's system to become acclimated. Slowly mix with your cat's other food over a 5 to 10 day period until your cat is only eating Rachael Ray Nutrish.
Their are quick with the sending out the orders. Get them within a few days. Customer service is always good. No better place for me to get our cat supplies. A loyal customer for life.
Our 7 cats are in love with this Rachael Ray Nutrish. I have finally put dishes up part of the day because a couple of them just sit at the dish and nibble for too long. We will buy again.
Within a day of switching to this food my cat had horrible symptoms. Vomit and diarrhea for 24-48 hours. I switched the food back and he was fine again. I would not recommend buying this.
I was giving my cats Rachel Ray Nutrish with Chicken and Lentils, but the ingredients gave them acid reflux and they were farting a lot. So I switched them to the Rachel Ray Turkey and Chickpea recipe, thinking it would be easier on their digestive systems. They ate it for a few months, but the Chickpea recipe often made one of my cats (Aslan) constipated and strain in the litter box, while it gave my other cat (Aurora) the runs. It made all of my cats have really stinky messy poops. It did help my chonk ClawDia lose some weight, but that's because she didn't like it and would just pick at her food. It's a good quality brand, unfortunately it just didn't work out for my cats needs. They have sensitive digestive systems. I'm going to give Blue Buffalo Tastefuls weight loss recipe a try. It's almost twice the price, but hopefully it works out better for my furry family.
I have three cats and one has a very sensitive stomach. Naturally he is the only one with long fur and it has led to some VERY unpleasant after-litterbox moments for both of us. I have tried a few sensitive stomach formulas and I keep coming back to this one because it seems to be the only one that really works. I will say that one of my other cats isn't a huge fan but she honestly isn't the biggest fan of any food I've tried (wet, dry, even treats). She does eat it, though, and that's good enough for me (since she's so picky, pretty sure she only eats at all because she would die if she didn't). Anyway, definitely recommend trying if you have a cat with tummy problems. It may not work for you, but it certainly did for me and my babies!
Had to find food that didn't make my Lucy puke. All 5 of my Cats love all of Rachel rays stuff, and no puke so it's definitely a win.
Since I had 2 boxes of litter arrive in this order, I opened the box without this bag of food in it last week. Tonight when I opened the box with the bag of Nutrish Inner Health, the bag was opened and much of it was poured out into the box.
It took 6 days to receive my recent order. The box I received was wet the cat food was damp on the outside of the bag! The inside is dry, but could have easily molded if the inside got wet!
My cats like Rachel Rays cat food the best. It's not dyed like a lot of cat food is and my little cat Fancy throws up the dyed ones but Rachel's she eats it just fine and my other two cats, Orangy and Blacky love it too.
Not sure what it is about this formula, but it makes both of my cats very sick. They get diarrhea, refuse to eat, and have now chewed into the dogs food bag. We had this same issue with this Inner Heath formula in the past but I had forgotten.
