These are recommended feeding guidelines that should be adjusted as needed to obtain optimum weight. Provide a bowl of fresh, clean water for your pet at all times. Close package tightly between feedings or store in an airtight container to keep product fresh. Use a standard 8 oz dry measuring cup for determining food amounts. Adult dogs with normal activity may be fed the recommended amount in 2 meals daily.
Slowly mix Nutrish® with his other food over a 5 - 10 day period until your dog is solely eating Rachael Ray™ Nutrish®. Once your dog is only eating Nutrish, keep in mind that feeding guidelines on the bag are a guide. Your dog's individual needs will vary based upon his size, his activity level and even his age. And overfeeding is a common source of digestive upset. Be sure to check your dog's weight and adjust feeding levels to maintain a healthy weight. And, don't forget to see your vet regularly.

Limited Ingredients With Plenty of Flavor
Rachael Ray's cooking philosophy is all about using real ingredients to make deliciously simple recipes, and the same goes for her dog food creations. Just 6 is a limited ingredient diet for dogs of all sizes that reduces the chances of your pup reacting badly to common pet food allergens. There are only six main ingredients, plus essential vitamins and chelated minerals for a doggie dish that's full of flavor, not extra ingredients.
Digestion Is Key
Just 6 Limited Ingredient Recipe is gentle on your dog's stomach and easy to digest. Lamb meal is a highly digestible protein, and brown rice is another tummy-friendly ingredient that adds wholesome fiber to your dog's diet. The minerals are chelated, which means they're easier for the body to absorb and use, instead of being passed and wasted in the stool.

Just Six Natural Ingredients
Everything in this special formula has a purpose—there aren't any ingredients that are added just because. It starts out with unique lamb protein that's full of essential amino acids and B vitamins. Lamb meal also provides natural glucosamine and chondroitin for healthy joints. Brown rice and ground rice deliver fiber and carbs for quick energy. Beet pulp is a prebiotic that feeds healthy bacteria in the gut. Poultry fat gives your pup omegas for healthier skin, and the natural chicken flavor gives the whole meal a nice flavor boost.
More Room for the Good Stuff
Because every bag is full of just six wholesome ingredients, including premium lamb meal and brown rice, there's just no room for the stuff your pup doesn't need. That includes fillers, glutens, corn, wheat, soy, chicken by-product meals, and artificial colors, preservatives and flavors.

All 4 pups LOVE this one!
By Gina on Jan 1, 2021
My husky pup had digestive issues for the first year and a half. We tried all of the expensive recommended foods and he either wouldn’t eat it or it wasn’t helping our issues. Then we tried the cheap ones, made the digestive issues worse and he would quit eating the same kind after a couple weeks. Tried this and he loved it! Fast forward 5 years and add 3 more pups to the mix and they all love this food and we have not had any issues at all. They don’t like the other flavors as much, so we pretty much stick to this one.

RR Just Six
By Bailey1 on Dec 29, 2020
Well my dog tried it and this food was a no go. She would not eat it alone (at first we thought she was sick) or mixed with other dry food. She would eat around it. I tried hiding this brand and another in my hands..no luck. She would eat other brand. It didn't matter which hand it was in. Sorry. I gave the food to a friend. One her dogs ate it the other wouldn't touch it. Weird.

I've tried everything for my dog's sensitive tummy
By Ellie on Dec 21, 2020
My baby spent his first year of life very neglected. He came to me so thin you could see his rib cage, and he was sensitive to most foods. I've tried brands that are $60 per bag but nothing was working. This was my last-ditch effort before trying homemade food, and I'm happy to report that my guy hasn't tossed his cookies since we made the switch! He is finally up to a healthy weight, and his fur is so soft and shiny. Even better, his miracle food is affordable. Please never discontinue this.

my dogs love it
By dentastix on Nov 5, 2020
We normally feed Diamond Naturals Lamb and rice, I was running low and ended up grabbing this as it was close in ingredients, I cant seem to get my dogs to eat Diamond now. I think it smells horrible, and it does make my dane gassy, but both my dogs seem to love this stuff.

Great for dogs with sensitivity
By Rachel on Oct 30, 2020
Our dog was having hair loss that we thought might be from their former food so we decided to try this limited ingredient food. What a difference! Her coat is now shiny and she really looks forward to feeding times. This is a great food at a good price, especially for limited ingredient foods.

She loves it!
By WillowsMom on Dec 18, 2020
We switched from the Costco Lamb mix for this, since it is so easy to get delivered. It was delivered super quickly, like all Chewy's stuff! Our 50 lb pit bull mix, Willow, really likes it--but she's also not picky!

By MyCyber on Jan 8, 2021
This dog food it just as good as the previous Limited Ingredient Diet dog food I was using but it is half the price. It is good quality and I am very happy with it. My dogs seems to enjoy it as well.

Love Just 6 Dog Food!
By mom2pups on Oct 29, 2020
I LOVE Rachael Ray’s Just 6 dog food! I have a Yorkie and a Pit Bull. Both have sensitive stomachs and both are allergic to chicken. I’m so thankful I found this food. They love the taste and they’re happy and healthy which makes me happy!

Find something else
By JMZG on Nov 10, 2020
I own a corgi and he’ll eat pretty much everything and anything he can get his paws on except this. He wouldn’t even eat his normal food when I mixed this in to introduce it. I even tried mixing it into wet food and he would spit the pieces out when he chomped into the wet food. The food also smelled like play-doh, so I can’t blame him. Would not buy again.

The food we keep coming back to
By Ally on Oct 16, 2020
The shelter we adopted our pitbull from uses Nutrish so that's what we fed him on Day 1. Since then we have tried every high end food out there (always making sure to combine it with the old foods and phase it in) and his poor tummy has rebelled - farts, runs, barfs, you name it. Our vet suggested a limited ingredient food after he had an allergic reaction to poultry and this is the only one that he actually gets excited about eating. Until something changes (or he stops doing tippy taps when it's dinner time), we're sticking with the Just 6 lamb.
